  • She was born to sing Mozart's works.

  • holy crap, why can't this be in latin!

  • Truly wonderful. The way she's mastered those leaps. High, low, high, low....to be able to hit those in your chest voice and then bounce back up without a crack or any misstep. Her coloratura his probably one of the best-especially being a mezzo.

  • But in the Mass it's Dessay who sings this, isn't it? What did I miss?

  • umm no? this is laudamus te right? its sung by the lower soprano! OMG I don't remember what she sounds like...I've been sleep deprived and gone for what 40 years now? I forgot what music is.

  • yeah yeah so you're right;) She sounds like an oboe - in that Charpentier Te Deum I mentioned earlier she has a dialogue with a oboe and at one point you almost can't distiguish the 2 .

  • Fabulous! Exquisite and even in every register. Terrific, effortless sounding coloratura. I find this marvelous - thanks for posting!!

  • I can't believe the ratings are this low! Who's the idiot that would give Cecilia Bartoli less than 5*? Hers was the first female voice that I was really enamored with.

  • Certified Intergalactic! Her voice fills me with intergalactic joy.
