I once played an battle where I and my opponent agreed that he could use anything he wanted (and how many as he wanted) while I played with only my SU-100 and T-70. This battle was hilarious as my SU-100 chewed up ANYTHING my enemy threw at me. When he used his Elefant TD my T-70 distracted him by driving in circles around him. My SU-100 needed only 1 shot hehehe.After 22 kills I ran out of ammo and had to blow it up as I couldn't go to resupply.
at 7:40 you hit the M26 4 times on the front armor... and it didn't die? wtf? even a PZ 4 can penetrate the front armor of a M26, the King Tiger should just one shot kill it :|
@tanker1408 I think the reason the M26 survived so long was because I for some dumb reason aimed for the turret. First disabling the turret then after that the gun.
When i finally shoot it in the hull armor it gets destroyed.
@GloriousMister No but some of them could really resist more than 1 shot . Some tanks have a real thick hull and some of them where just crap (as japanese tanks). And of course there are other factors like: Distance, angle, weak point, type of shell, reload time etc etc.
The real soldiers of the Tiger Tanks must have felt mighty on the battlefield :) Sucks for the ones though that didn't get a single kill in their new Tiger, instead they got killed :)
@tonysuthechineseguy Like all sophisticated Tanks( also today´s M1, Leopard and so on) Tiger need frequent maintenance , look in Tiger 1 and in Panthers Manual, but under Fieldconditions its sometimes not possible( timefactor)I have seen many NATO Tanks in training with mecanical Failures. German Tanks where ever the best! Germany give his Tankers the best they had in WW2 ,1stclass aimingdevice and state of the art Tech. . Also US think so today and built first class tanks not mass Prodution.
lol, ive been playin this game a bit as of late and the official verdict is the T29, M26, IS3, A39 and Chi-RI? are bad ass muthafuckas w/ more armor on them then a WWII Battleship and really shouldnt be in the game. I know they are there for playbalance but holy crap atleast they should be equal to w/e it is they are sposed to be the equivalent of. Fun game but the AI sometimes does some reeeallly stupid stuff and those supertanks are beasties haha

actually the Sherman in Squad Leader whch is a quite realistic board game by ASL can kill a Tiger I from the front w/ a very lucky shot.....the game depicts by rolling a 2 on 2d6...so not likley but it can happen....King Tiger only those bigger guns like prolly a 90mm stands any chance haha...either way this game looks pretty wicked

@GrrrIamMad just letting you all know the tiger tanks had a very complex weld design and any metal or alloy is stronger at the welds cause it fuses the molecules in a crystalline pattern and the armor was layered. YES I AM A WAR AND HISTORY ENTHUSIAST
This video is not a hardcore multiplayer battle. Its more of a demonstration of the Tiger and the King tiger.
My opponant Xsistors job was basically to spam stuff very agressivly. Starting of with the weak shermans and then eventually getting better and better tanks.
You can see later of he tries alot harder with flanking Hellcats and Sluggers etc...

@bsimulator The King Tiger is better in both armor and firepower.
It is however twice as expensive.
In this vid however the King tiger got a bit unlucky and met stronger enemy tanks then the Tiger 1 did.

Both of em made just like they looked like in WW-2. So i suggest you check your eyesight.

The KT can easily kill the T29 when he was that close. you just had the tank facing a bad way and got the torret destroyed at the wrong time

This is multiplayer. My friend is basically just orderd to spam units against the tiger and king tiger. while i play in foll direct control.
Theres no King tiger you get to use in the SP campaign. However might be people who have made SP maps that allows you to use the King tiger.

Men jo tror att de går om de är jäkligt nära, men de är nästan omöjligt skulle jag säga.

Well yes Standard M4A1 shermans can't penetrate the tiger from the front.
But as you could see in the video both the Hellcat and the slugger does if close enough.
However the armor can get weaken if the units take enought shots to the same place, but that takes forever.

@CMDRFandragon There is no real damage for Tanks, it penatrates or it doesn't, and if it does penatrate it might not even kill the Tank.
