  • i think adding a pinch of asafoetida would also help it taste better! also i know a version where boiled mashed potato is added but its thin sev

  • hi girls......can u make the receipe called besan seeranee....its sweet. Its v popular in punjab.....especially when there is wedding it is distributed along with paras and ladoos as a shagun. Its like little besan sevs with sugar coating.

  • hi if you dont have a oil spray you can use water in the machine.

    i just use water.nice recipes. thank you.

    Water has a chance to drip into the hot oil resulting in a dangerous situation. If you don't have the spray can, you can use regular oil and apply it with your hands.

    Sev made with either of those things may be too thick.

  • I cannot stand the smell of Cloves (remind me too much of the dentist) can anyone tell me do cloves change their smell when cooked?

    It becomes less intense as it cooks, but the smell is still there. You can leave it out if you like.
