i just stumbled across this video today. the people of the flotilla 2 which has pretty much flopped by now admitted as much they weren't really trying to deliver aid in the first place this was ll about creating "awarness" by running Israel's naval blockade. the flotilla 2 doesn't even have any aid. not to mention what these assholes in the video don't talk about is the 5 ships from the 1st flotilla who didn't run the blockade and unloaded there aid at Israeli ports where it was truck in to gaza

Compared to previous misdeeds by the Israeli authorities--or "truly" repressive governments--this is a skirmish. What does it have that outrages people who are essentially indifferent to much larger abuses?

For instance, how long does it take for the Chinese authorities to execute the same number of people as IDF murdered on this flotilla? About one day.

This demonstration is arguably good. But it is easy to view it as a distraction in the very real world of human rights violations.
