when i bring back my comp in premiere pro, if i wanna edit the comp and not have iot as one clip, how do i do? the alt double click only worked in after effects...
Thank you so much. I have been looking for a tutorial on how to bring in a premiere project as separate layers within the nested sequence. I was able to obtain such a feat, yet could never figure out how to access it. You saved me a huge headache.
LOL. YOur introduction had me laughing. But cool tutorial! In CS5 I here there is a way to copy and paste from Premiere to After Effects. I saw it and I was actually looking for the tutorial.
This video was a life saver! every time i renered out of after effects i saw a significant drop in quality and frame rate. with this workflow, the quality was the same as my premiere project!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I export a video from After Effects to Premiere it works fine but when I try exporting a video pre edited from Premiere to After Effects and then come back to Premiere It doesn't work. Do you know how to fix that?
If I add muzzle flashes, optical flares explosions etc will premiere be able to render them, or will I have to render those parts and then put them back to the composition so that premiere can read them?
I just got one problem... I imported an video from after effects to premiere, like the way you did and didn't had any problems with that, but when I want to drag my video to the timeline in premiere, it just doesn't work. When i drag it, a little white hand with a stripe in it holds it, and when I try to drop it in the timeline it just doesn't appeare there.
one question. im using AE cs5, every thing works for the dynamic link, except for the Alt double click ( it wont make my sequence into individual video clips, as seen in this tutorial. any other methods?
I'm using CS4, when im to import the Adobe Premiere Pro project. it only shows premiere as a supported file, and my premiere pro projects wont open.. Is this because i havn't updated any updates from adobe?
Thanks mang! I use the dynamic link both ways [possible with CS4] it seems easier to use just the dynamic link BUT....
You need to import the premiere project like in your tutorial to get access to all the clips in+out points... I mean the dynamic link is cool both ways for a single clip but if you are working on a multi-clip sequence your import method allows complete control of the edit in AE.. so now where premiere leaves off you can pick up in AE and even refine the edit in AE
thanks for the tutorial, i found an easier way to do this a long time ago, without all the saving but i forgot so as soon as i find it i'll let ya know
Thanks for the video on this.. I just wish it could work this good with Sony Vegas. No matter how hard I try to like Premiere CS4, I always go back to Vegas because its so much easier to get the same result.
good work, im glad you exist

When you add the sequence to the timeline, and press alt and double click, whats the shortcut for a mac?
