  • Comment removed

  • niggas

  • This song make me think of "Malice".

  • @MaritSkypeRape by behemoth?

  • 3 FUCKING POSERS!!!

  • 0:22 sounds like the intro to Her Ghost in the Fog (by CoF)

  • @Medsas don't even mention them in a Fleshgod Apocalypse video.

  • @mustaineisgod96 it should be okay ahah, fleshgod is not black metal.

  • @Medsas CoF isn't even black metal. they're blackened metal. blackened GOTH metal!

  • @mustaineisgod96 im not saying CoF is black metal. But since Fleshgod is not black metal, there shouldn't be too many black metal fans here that will complain if I talk about CoF.

  • I've made sheets to this if anyone wants.

  • @hallowbe

I'll be glad to get it (:

  • @hallowbe I want the sheet music.

  • @hallowbe can I have?

  • @Andragon90 no they definitely can. just don't say it like a faggot haahaha

  • @DfeNsIvEmAn52 lol you wanna call them niggers? That's pretty offensive.... quite metal indeed.

  • Comment removed

  • @DfeNsIvEmAn52 why not?

  • @DfeNsIvEmAn52 you just did

  • 1:38 is powerful

  • PENIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i really (REALLY) like this, anyone got suggestions for similar stuff?

  • Why is anyone hating on Necrophagist anyways? it's a great band, and so is Fleshgod Apocalypse [which remind me of Man Must Die, to be frank]. Hail to death metal!

  • @OrganMuncher \m/ I say both bands are great, anyone else who disagrees can Fuck Off and Die as Darkthrone said!!

  • That was beautiful...

  • @InsaneDemonMonkey Their just fuckin wannabe's! Good vibes to both Necro & FleshGod from Sri Lanka! \m/

  • this band is simply fantastic they can marry metal with classical music this is EPICCCCCCCC!!

  • @cervo1995 Well concidering classical music is most closely related to metal, it was only a matter of time. And when i mean metal. . . i mean all of metal's subgenres.

  • @Punjabi192 I hear that a lot, I have to disagree. Personally, I don't see any classical inflluences in stuff like glam metal, industrial metal, grindcore, or most early death metal stuff (Deicide, and Morbid Angel's debuts for example, Death's first 2 albums are exceptions).

  • @MusicSportsPolitics Its more of the extreme metal stuff, such as thrash and up. Death metal is probably the closest to all of it. For example Vital Remains, and their solos. Metal also follows classic ways such as heavier deeper sounds, and a extremely full sound. Plus you should learn music theory thats how you can see the similarities. PS i dont know music theory i read this up in a book, but i am playing to learn it next year in college, with my medical degree. . . its gonna be a bitch.

  • @Punjabi192 I know a lot about musical theory. I have been in "band" for 8 years, and been in "a band" for 3. And, theory-wise, I wouldn't exactly call the "deeper sounds" anything musically theoretical. That is simply the distortion/guitar tone, and the nature of the riffs. Yes, a lot, A LOT of metal has classical influences, but not nearly all. There is a lot of metal that is more influenced by the blues scale, or even folky progressions.

  • @MusicSportsPolitics Metal comes directly from blues, Black Sabbath used to be a blues band before they tuned down. Anyway, i forgot to say that metal bands have a heavier tuning than other music, as an example Vogner, he used to have a heavier sound, hell some instruments required two people to play! He was Romantic artist, but its what people consider classical music. Music theory like note progressions, and deciphering time signatures and tempos by listening to a song?

  • @Punjabi192 You are not really contributing to the conversation haha. Yes, Sabbath (named Earth at the time) was a bluesy rock band. And yes, SABBATH is very influenced by blues, but once again, try to find some hint of blues music in Freedom Call's Out of the Ruins for example. Metal influences range from across the board, and all I am saying is that not all metal bands are influenced by classical artists, and not all artists are influenced by blues artists. and yes, that music theory.

  • @MusicSportsPolitics I never said that metal bands were directly influence by classical bands, it is more convergent evolution of the music, kind of just happened by accident,do you know what i mean?

  • @Punjabi192 I know exactly what you mean, and a huge part of metal music IS influenced by classical music. Most notably progressive, thrash, and the more technical sides of death metal. However, the more 'primitive' sounds of metal, such as the -core genres, black metal, and early DM have their roots firmly attached in the 'metal' parts of the genres before them. Just because thrash music influenced black metal, doesn't mean black metal (kvlt in this case) has a hint of classical.

  • @MusicSportsPolitics except the -core genres are most influenced by Hardcore punk

  • @Blacksmith676 Well yeah, my mistake. Except for deathcore, I'd say it's most influenced by death metal, but yeah, you're right.

  • @Punjabi192 props to brown people who like metal... glad i'm not the only one.

  • @Rreptillian I know man, i thought i was the only one too, then i found out that their are tons of them! From india to japan, and africa to iraq!!! Check out Global Metal, and Heavy Metal in Iraq, it explores metal all over the world, and i was truely not surprised. Did you know that the Japanese LOVE metal. Freedmen of Megadeth is a star over there!

  • Beautiful song!

  • @InsaneDemonMonkey same here bro! stupid hater fanboys.

  • Have they madethis song? in any way is amazing

  • makes me happy the CD's filler is classical instead of the same homogenized cliche. Simply a pleasure.

  • @MetalFishX

How can you even consider this piece as a filler?

  • @Etlainen Your right its more of a device than filler. A oasis of calm in the audible feast of devastation that is this band. What I meant to imply was that this is much better than other bands ways of filling their albums which is usually with overplayed regurgitated crap that we've all heard a million times before. Instead fleshgod brings a different element and shows us beauty between death.

  • The godfather has just ordered you to be murdered.

  • Who else goes through all the metal videos laughing at these faggots internet drama?

    Grow up Kiddies.

  • I love this band...it's like what would happen if Beethoven met some good quality death metal. Beautiful and raw like getting decked by a model

  • i death metal band that actually thincks about what the album is trying to portrai also if youve had a hardcore hour of listening to death metal does melow you out a bit stopps you from punchin things lmao

  • this band doesnt even remind me of necrophagist.... it just sounds like decapitated on steriods... but i like decapitated too :)

  • E qui c'è un italiano che dice BRAVI a questi suoi connazionali!

We don't need to go abroad to find a good metal band!

  • nice song, not one for classical. but this is quite gd

gd way to calm u down after uve listned to all of that amzing metal

  • Comment removed

  • Amazing!!!

  • And nice album cover

  • so beautiful :,)

  • This band is to Death Metal what Emperor was to Black Metal...moving yet brutal at the exact same moment.

  • just beautiful *-*

  • who was the dipshit who disliked the video?

  • @Necropedophile90

I think he just missed the like-button

  • This band needs more fans. Pretty sure every metal fan would love them.

  • @Ithyphallics i didnt even really love metal until i heard these guys

  • This song is the shit! I was expecting some brutal death metal, but this is almost even better.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh so good

  • No dislikes. That's what I'm talking about.

  • great song, love the piano..

  • I fucking need this album! I mean I got CC and the facless but this rapes both of them up there fucking ASSES!

  • I feel like I'm in the Italian Mafia and just killed someone when I listen to this

  • sick song holly madness

  • @knownodanger1 with this piano music. i dont wanna know what the hell they can do with a full instrumental song. i listened to one and my ears popped of and a white sticky gluey stuff gushed out from where they used to be lol....

  • man i gotta meet this bands members and say that they kick ass

  • @rockntroopen i had the honor of shaking hands with the bassist while buying one of their shirts, and congratuated their performance :D

  • Ah que gran cancion... algo excelente con cual relajarse despues de tanta brutalidad |m|

  • great song

  • I love how their album title songs are piano instrumentals. I love going up to my non metal head friends, making them listen to this and then embodied deception and telling them that they were made by the same people.

  • is the pianist a member of the band?

  • @corpusc yes he is. and damm he is one hell of a pinaist.

  • @rockntroopen wow, he really is amazing. they should integrate him more into the brutal songs.

  • This is beautiful, i can't believe i've been missing out on this band. This reminds me so much of the movie Shutter Island.

  • @whitechapel313

Damn, you're right! It DOES remember me too of that movie!

  • im not into classical type whatever the fuck this is but this band makes it sound goooood!!!!!.......going in my fav =]

  • @SmokeTheMist listen to their other songs...they shred

  • @SmokeTheMist

Ha check Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.. You might like it..

  • @SmokeTheMist Classical always sounded good...

  • @SmokeTheMist If you like metal, then you automatically like classical. Metal evolved from classical. Just listen to some russian composers and you'll hear the influence! :D

  • @AwesomeMetalChick yes, search this video i think everyone here will like it - Rachmaninoff Sonata 3 Goran Filipec.

  • @AwesomeMetalChick Can't agree more, I've always said metal is classical with distortion!

  • god damn this is one sick song and one sick ass album cover, can't belive i've never heard of them before

  • i remember when i showed them this lick.

  • finally a badass metal band with heavy classical music influences. Im not alone :D

  • Thanks to these guys, I now enjoy listening to some classical music as well as metal too! :)

  • sometimes i listen to classical music just to imagine how brutal it would sound as a metal song.. >:)

  • @mmalinab wait you said brutal fuck that

  • @inthepants117 thanks to scene and emo kids the word 'brutal' to me isnt used to describe how heavy music is. its lost its value thanks to poser pieces of shit that used it to describe every breakdown filled song from no talent teenaged pissed off bands that call their genre deathcore.

  • @fatafreak91 agreed 100 percent

  • @fatafreak91 that my friend, is the world brootal, us death metal (NOT DEATHCORE) heads can still use brutal to sufficiently describe badass music :D

  • @icarlyisbetter yes but i just feel like any form of it is associated with the gay deathcore version now :(

  • I love it when the powers of metal and the powers of classical music come together it's truely a peice of art!!! powerful...strong and inspiring. and makes me want to burn babys....true art! lol

  • WOW

  • sounds so smooth

  • Che un capolavoro bellissimo.

  • Sounds like john Tesh. I'm not hating.

  • Man i got to say italian Death metal is realy fucking cool!

I got ther album Mafia and i LOVED IT!

  • Not A Song, A Work Of Art

  • @SirSkullMat666 I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU!!!

  • this song is pretty good, more on the mellow side...hey doesnt opeth have a song thats all piano too?

  • @ElrichBros1992 honestly, Beethoven would probably be playing Metal if he were still alive today. Even when he WAS alive, his music was considered much darker than other composers.

  • lol whats scene??

  • @xXMetalMan666Xx rhat faggs and cuts with eye liner and tight pants colofur shirts, fucking difficult hair you know

  • How do they perform this stuff live?

  • @Leisi1337 I think they just use it as an Outro, so it isn´t played live, they just play the song from the tape...!

btw. Fleshgod Apocalypse fucking rules - the new EP is just ultrabrutal. Thru Our Scars is written at 286 Bpm and that´s really, really, really fast. :)

  • I love this song

  • i like flesh but i love necro... think the difference for me is mainly the tuning, and drumming.. necro has a much tighter sound. it doesn't drown you in the sound... plus Necrophagist have a great lead tone. Fleshgod are amazing to say the least.. Fleshgod get my vote for overall theme and feel though.. and sometimes thats more important on who can shred like a motherf***er.

  • @AMNION666

Hell, you should check out the new song by Fleshgod, 'Thru Our Scars'

  • sickest Italian ever

  • well actually the sickest Italian ever is Ezio Auditore :P

  • hahahahah yer

  • The audio doesn't stop, the song ends there. idk why he left extra minute there though

  • Erm, was it just me or did the audio stop at about 3 minutes? :/

  • @MrCatFetish

no wonder, the song is 2:58 long

  • I wish more there were more bands like Fleshgod. I listen to old school death metal alot, but not many bands can fuse death metal with neo classical this well.

  • Am I the only one who thinks these guys are better than Necrophagist?

  • Definitely NOT.

  • Comment removed

  • Ha... :]

  • Necrophagist are just talented musicians who can't write good songs for shit.

Fleshgod, on the other hand, kick ass from every point of view. These guys and Hour Of Penance are keeping the metal flowing.

  • @Kaleo64 You cant forget Dethklok

  • @adamhornback haha yeww dethklok goes off!

  • @Kaleo64 You're fucking crazy.

  • @Kaleo64 agreed! But you forgot to add Opeth!

  • @davidfreilich No, that band is a massive shit on all of the smaller more technical metal bands that have come before them, who feast on the young disillusioned minds that think Opeth are actually talented.

  • @LichKingSkullWart bro, opeth are awesome, just because they're not insanely fast and really technical doesn't mean they aren't good songwriters.

  • @parabola235 They're just pretentious loons. Their music is bland, uninspired, uninteresting, and predictable. They're awful to listen to. Silence is more satisfying than them.

  • @Zimx02 hahaha, predictable? bland? i had a look on your page and you listen to avenged sevenfold, you can't talk.

  • @parabola235 Not only is your reasoning fallacious (argumentum ad hominem), but Avenged Sevenfold's earlier material was really eclectic.

Now, I say that people that don't know argumentation should not talk in the first place, and I'm not committing the fallacies.

  • @Zimx02 Dude do you have any idea how much of a smug pretentious git you sound like? I'm not gonna argue with you, theres no point, especially on this page. You have your opinions and i have mine but don't act all high and mighty.

  • @parabola235 :[

  • @Zimx02 This is a Fleshgod Apocalypse video. Go talk about how gay Avenged Sevenfold is on one of their videos please. Or stay here and get laughed at by everyone that thinks Avenged Sevenfold is a pathetic attempt at music kthxbai. Dont even bother replying honestly after mentioning Avenged Sevenfold your opinion and words dont mean shit to me.

  • @Sorjinn Don't make me laugh; another uneducated little fuck trying to defend Opeth? Not only did I not bring Avenged Sevenfold up (it was the other dipshit that doesn't know the first thing about proper reasoning... like you), but there's an inherent hypocrisy on you talking about them and telling me to not talk about a band.

What about you and every other dumb pretentious shit like you goes away where you can tell each other you know about music? Your delusions won't be catered here.

  • @LichKingSkullWart your fucking dumb.opeth is talented and they are not technical they are proressive dumb fuck

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, probly. Necrophagist = better. Granted Fleshgod is amazing, but nonetheless.

  • @ohSHITitsJOE i think it's a different kind of brutal,i also appreciate necrophagist much more, but they are two different bands to put in comparison

  • WTF your crazy

  • @ChimChimandChimaira why cant they both be good???

  • @ChimChimandChimaira Not better, just different but fucking amazing!

  • @ChimChimandChimaira both are great, personally I prefer Fleshgod

  • Comment removed

  • this song is beautiful, very rarely can bands mix classical and death metal and produce such an awesome sound

  • badass

  • In my opinion this is one of the few good pieces this band has. I like this one :-D
