To everyone who hates pitbulls and wants them banned because they are "evil killers", I ask you this how can you then explain Daddy and Junior belonging to Cesar Millan.
as long as dumb ass people like that can make money off of dog fighting and get their kicks this will always be a problem even if mankind kills every pit in the world!!! responsible pit..... no pet owners need 2 stand 2gether and stand up 4 our right 2 own what ever breed we wish 2 as long as we r responsible owners we also need 2 educate others on dogs 2 banish the ignorance others have about not only the pit breed but all bully breeds as well
futhermore banning pits will only make the dog fighters revert back 2 the old days b4 pits were used as fighting dogs and they will use another breed until it 2 is banned and then pick another breed until there is no dogs left 2 own honostly if all that were left 2 fight were chiuauas and poodles they would make them fighting dogs just 4 the blood sport and blood lust and greed they really get their rocks off watching 1 animal kill another 2 please its owner so its owner makes money of betting
look at Mike Vics dogs Ceasar Millian was able 2 rehab several that just goes 2 show they need proper raising just as most of 2days youth no home training leads 2 bad ass kids and the same with animals
but still that is my breed of chose they will willingly give their life to protect me and my family so just cuz u were attacked by a certain breed maybe u should deeply research them and dont let 1 experience ruin ur outlook ......im just sayin when u got ur 1st bike and the training wheels were removed did u hate the bike when u fell or give it a second chance???if people were educated about dogs these things would not happen as often with any breed 97% of dog attacks had signs or warnings 1st
since the 1st day i was brought home and i have been attacked more times than i can remember the worst was a cocker spanle that tried 2 chew my eye out it because i got 2 close 2 the female that was in heat but still i hate no particular breed and RESPECT and TRUST dogs MORE than i do people if raised right and loved a dog wants nothing more than that and a ball where humans even raised right and loved desire more from greed and will turn on u b4 an animal will i have been attacked by pits
@numbers0to1001 it is unfortunate u were attacked by pit bulls but had it been a german shepard which is widely used as a police dog or even a large breed poodle would u fear that breed i think not u probably wouldnt even tell any1 u were attacked by a poodle! the fact is any dog can attack and do major bodily damage even a chiuaua the breed should not be feared because of its breed but because of owners that are not responsible enuf 2 train their dogs
Actually, the one that grabbed my rear bike tire while it was spinning had something to do with it. Also the one that silently but stealthily approached my ankle as I was peddling by played a factor.
@numbers0to1001 Both times I was doing nothing wrong and these TWO incidences were the only two significant enough to stick in my mind. It was not any media bias, at the times I didn't even know what kind of dogs they were but they were quite real as was the danger. Yes there are counter examples but... don't discount my experiences. I don't really care whether it was the fault of the owner or the breeders that breed them that way.

The reason more people DIE from pitbull attacks is because of a pit's lockjaw, when they have you, they wont let go, so you have a higher death rate with pitbulls because when they DO attack, its ugly!

@padmasanaa Exactly... and not all but far too many Pitt Bull owners have them because they value their ability to fight and for that reason alone make them more likely to be dangerous. And no I'm not saying all... many are no doubt loving family pets but the one's that came out of their perceived territories to attack me were not coming after me to show me some loving and that gives me a right to fear them.
