Just because a shot doesn't have lots of strength doesn't mean that it can't move something like a goal. All it needs is direct force to an area, which in turn forces the net back. And of course the rink only has Reebok advertisements, but that doesn't mean that they are trying to monopolize the competition. Plus, even if it doesn't look like he has that hard of a shot on TV, until you have seen him play in person you can't possibly think that he doesn't have a hard shot.

Any one whose played hockey can tell you that a net is easy to slide across ice with not much force, but once it's position it is difficult to knock off. He isn't moving the net its simply pivoting on the one side that is until the other one falls into place and you wouldn't need a chara type show to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if this is faked but the physics behind the idea does make it possible. What if it was ovi???

The net is moving because it isnt in its moorings. You know..the rubber things that hold it in its place. The speed of sound is quite slow and you will notice at most sport events a slight delay...baseball is a good example...watch when a bat makes contact with the ball..there will be a varying delay on the sound depending how far away you are sitting. Crosby is an amazing athlete, all my gear is top of the line rbk but i cant justify spending $250USD on a stick...i ussually spend around $250-3

Clearly the pegs are out of the net, with the pegs in the net, this would be impossible, even for Chara, but I think that an NHL shot could move a net, and in terms of moving a fixed object like a net, I dont think 10mph difference would really make a difference, and obviously there's gonna be Reebok ads in the rink, it's a reebok promo, that doesnt mean it's fake. It could very well be fake, but your reasons make no sense

@TheCapsfan100 the net is not on its weights, only one side is. Any one whose played hockey can tell you that a net is easy to slide across ice with not much force, but once it's position it is difficult to knock off. He isn't moving the net its simply pivoting on the one side that is until the other one falls into place and you wouldn't need a chara type show to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if this is faked but the physics behind the idea does make it possible. What if it was ovi???

Well just like you i am a cap fan but give some of this one to the guy... and most pros can move the net on a shott. the only reason you dont see that in a game is because unlike you i actually play hockey and after the zamboni gets off the nets are pegged into place... Most hockey players dont peg down the net when just shooting around in practice.

The net is moving because it isnt in its moorings. You know..the rubber things that hold it in its place. The speed of sound is quite slow and you will notice at most sport events a slight delay...baseball is a good example...watch when a bat makes contact with the ball..there will be a varying delay on the sound depending how far away you are sitting. Crosby is an amazing athlete, all my gear is top of the line rbk but i cant justify spending $250USD on a stick...i ussually spend around $250-3

@arnihockey LOL yah because the puck hits the crossbar before hitting the mesh. the net would not move that much if it were to hit the net and not hit the crossbar. the mesh on these nets and made to withstand 700lbs of force. lol it obviously absolutely has to hit the crossbar in order for the net to move like that.
