  • What a range of fanastic songs this band has left us with. Moody Blues will give me pleasure till my dying day.

  • When my daughter (Emily) was in hospital at 10 weeks old with Meningitis and Septicemia I listened to this song every night and still love it to this day, never has a song meant so much to me, and FYI wee Emily is now 6 years old and doing great :)

  • What a beautiful tribute to his daughter. I love this song.

  • Such BEAUTIFUL words sung by a genuine man to his daughter!

I haven't heard this song in YEARS!

    Thank You for posting this!!!

  • From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU to all my dear friends for the love you've shown me once again. I am touched beyond what I could ever express. I am a very fortunate woman to have you in my life. GOD BLESS each one of you. I love you so!

  • Moodiesfan/Joyce,

How can we ever thank you enough for this- and all the incredible vids you post for us? But more importantly, how can we ever thank you for being the incredibly generous and loving person and dear friend that you are? I so love and appreciate you.

  • Thanks Deb!

  • yes very inspirational indeed deborah!

  • very inspirational

  • way to go Deb..very classy..I too, wanted to dedicate a song to my "two dads" as well..but I couldn't find a song with 'gutless wonder' and 'lying shitsack' in it..LOLOL..sad but true..and I know you understand Deb..til later..Mike xo

  • Mike,

Oh I couldn't even type the words I've used for my dads. BUT....I have to extend them the same grace and mercy that I've been given. It's not easy to do, because I'm still being affected by their poor choices. It hurts, but I must forgive them, even in the midst of my pain. Yes I totally understand you and my heart goes out to you my dear friend. I pray you can make peace with yours as well.

  • You are such an special woman, Deborah.

More than You really know, I think.

We love You so much and the world wouldn´t be the same without You in it.

I´m really sorry that You are feeling sad.

If I could, I would just dry away all the tears that streems down from the eyes of yours. *Reaching out my arms as long as possible and gives You a big warm hug*

    Love You.

  • Outstanding! /5

  • such a beautiful song!

  • Sweet

  • hasn't this fascination gone far enough??? :)

  • THIS is why I love John Lodge so much: his incredibly generous and loving heart!

One day I will know what it's like to be loved this way. My heavenly Father will sit me on his knee, look into my eyes, and tell me how much He loves His little girl. I cannot wait!

To my two Earthly "fathers": I know you did your best. You didn't get love either, and so you didn't know how to give it. I forgive you.

  • Deborah

One day sooner than you reckon, each tear will be redeemed because God has caught each on in a bottle. Not only will those tears be redeemed but God Himself shall wipe away your tears and trade them for His Joy. You are greatly beloved and you can take that to the bank. Michael xoxox

  • I agree with Michael!!

    Love ya girl!!

    Cherri

  • Cherri,

I love you too my precious friend!

    THANK YOU for everything.

  • Mike,

I have no words to respond to such kind and loving words. Do you have any idea how big of a place you occupy in my heart? I love you, my dear sweet friend.

  • Deb,this is a fantastic vid! Thanks Joyce!

  • Aren't we lucky to have talented musicians say those words for us.....those words that are sometimes too hard for us too write down or speak.

And aren't we very fortunate to have a circle of friends here on earth to give and spread love as best they can.

I hope you can feel my love for you, Deb.

  • Great. Just....great.

  • Just when I start thinking that Hayward dominates with beautiful ballads, videos such as Lodge's "Emily's Song" bring me back to reality. It really doesn't get any lovelier than this. Fantastic!
