Now, I'm not saying that Aura's don't exist in one form or another, but the Kirline machine is a complete hoax. As for your claim the Auras are scientifically backed. I don't buy that either. Most likely it's several "like minded" "scientists?" that are bias toward "the main stream sciences." The main reason the existance of Aura/Chakras are not taken seriously is because neither side won't cooperate and get over their biases.

@6no1fear6 So, let me get this straight. Because I critize the usfulness of this particular machine I must not know anything about matter and energy. That's a bias statement as ever I read one. I don't claim to know everything about energy or the dynamics of matter, however, I can observe. And what I've observe here is plasma(electricity) being attract to H2O. H2O is a natural conductor of electricity and allows for electricity to pass through it's mass.

I still remain skeptical as to it's functionalty or if it functions as we are told it does.

@6no1fear6 cont: if there is no H2O to pass through the plasma(electricity) stays in that area. Thus, the reasoning for the electricity staying after the moist object is removed. Even, when the piece of the leaf is removed I'd argue that the surface wasn't wiped down throughly. So, in closing it is not the "Aura" that the Kirin machine is picking up, but the H2O's attraction to electricity. But that's my observation not a flawed belief.

@thinker900 auras are not a belief,, ppl have talked of the 'spirit energy' for a long time,, besides lots of ppl can see it wit their own eyes its jus cool that technology has also found a way to see the more subtle light energies of reality,, there is a simple exercise all can do, if u can be bothered,, put your hands together but not touching, slowly move them apart about 2foot and then bring them together again but not touching repeat this while feeling the energy flowing through your hands

I want you to try something out for me. Get a plasma ball or disk. Second, make sure your hand or object are moist when in contact with said device. Third, during the time you or the object are in contact observe it from the bottom. Fourth, remove your hand or object from the surface your observing. You might be surprised on what you'll find. Oh, the hint here is that water is a good conductor of electricity.

That is a Vajra (aka Dorje) which I made from aluminum foil. One of these days I will be making an "art film" using the kirlian imaging technique that explores the concept of the Vajra- a more developed version of "Kirlian Experiment No. 4"

Vajra is a Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond. The vajra is a short metal weapon that has the symbolic nature of a diamond (it can cut any substance but not be cut itself) and that of the thunderbolt (irresistible force).

This is my problem with the Kirlian machine:

1) It looks too much like the reaction you get from a common plasmaball.

2) Very little is known or experimented with( by scientist..real ones not the types that flash a PHD or Rh) to make it valid.

Now, this is not to say that I'm not open to the idea or possiblity, but I'm one that need reliable references to count on.
