I've already cracked the case on the ECU. Didn't find anything obvious, even under a 'scope. According to my research and troubleshooting, it seems to be a "bit flip" in the flash. Why? Because my "in park, warmed up" idle isn't 625 rpm like it's supposed to be. It's 650 rpm as verified by a handful of rpm measuring instruments. Makes me think one bit of one byte/word got flipped in that part of flash and gave me an extra 25 rpm at idle, which also causes the P0601 code.
wow...your such a bitch...are you honestly deprecating people who take interest in your work....ya ya ya, I know, I know, "They they don't know what their doing or talking about ".......right? ...Well guess what asshole, there actually was a day not to long ago that YOU did not know what you were doing either...I kinda wish who ever got you started would have just blown you off too and....oh never mind, your such a waste of my time...you piece of fuck
can you make this into an obd2 simulator for all protocol or what ever the elm provide ?i had done it in the pass but through an rs232 only from the laptop by using the terminal call doclight .let me know if you can Ill hire you for it .
Thats a lot of work you have done and you are smart fellow. As to your p0601 im sure if you open the pcm up and look at the circuit board yoiu will find whats wrong with the pcm. I know this guy he is a electrical engineer who fixes pcm's for shops. I myself want to become an electrical engineer so i can be able to fix pcm's and other modules. If you can do this with little resource think about if you were to use more than what you have here and can accomplish good things.
If anyone else has any REAL questions after doing some research and a bit of reading, I'd be more than happy to answer them...but I'm not going to waste my time spoon-feeding some clown that doesn't want to learn anything...
this guy thinks hes a genius who's also a comedian. i guess your a bitch when it comes to giving assistance. well theres plenty of fuckers like you out there huh? you seem like a grumpy old fag who spends his days being a dick. well thanks for all your fucken help, oh wait, what help. you couldnt be more a dick when you right comments. well go sit on your finger and put it in your ass and spin on it cause thats seems to be the only thing you can do thats right. fuck you and fuck yourself.
how would you retrieve the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) from the elm327 through a terminal program? I understand it is mode 03 but i didnt get anything. what PID will tell the elm327 to get the DTC?
I would like to make one myself, but need help in some areas. I wanted to know what program you used to communicate the elm327 and the pic microcontroller? Also does the elm327 have all the codes stored in it or do we have to program it using a machine language? if so, can you send me a copy of your code or something that can help me sync the two, and what I need to do to get info from the elm327 to the pic microcontroller. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

"did you use the PID commands?"
How the hell else are you going to get anything from OBD? Love? Maybe just WISH the data out of the wires?
"Where can I get a list if PID's? "
Have you tried this thing called a 'SEARCH'?
Hang it up... You're most likely in over your head.
Go back to flashing LEDs...

"need help in some areas"
SOME = ALL eh?
"wanted to know what program you used to communicate the elm327 and the pic"
Assembly
"does the elm327 have all the codes stored in it or do we have to program it"
Still haven't read the datasheet yet have you?
"can you send me a copy of your code"
You don't know how hard that makes me laugh.
"Any assistance would be greatly appreciated"
How about if you help yourself first and do some datasheet reading...

im curious, how are you able to connect the elm 327 to the pic?
peterx87 3 years ago
Do a Google search, download the datasheet...
skimask87 3 years ago
DO A GOOGLE SEARCH ON ELM327!!!!
DOWNLOAD THE DATASHEET FROM THE MAKER!!!
"Can I have your codes?"
I DOUBT YOU'D KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM ONCE I ....ahem... GAVE.... THEM TO YOU.
