on the limo it's chuck but I thought that was not happening in episode 10. (I think when he finds out that chuck had sex with Blair). When you watch the canadese promo for episode 10 you can see that Nate is hitting someone at the ball, that's Carter.

I'm Dutch and don't know what buoyant means but maybe he fell in love with her again, or he is helping his father again.. who knows!

But in the promo you can see that they're defenitely making out so I think it's serious this time.. but I agree with you that Chuck and Blair also make a great couple (I even made a video about them)

I have no idea but this is what I (!) think:

Blair is still in love with Nate.. So when Nate suprisingly asks her to the Ball she is actually very happy. I don't know why she is having that relationship with Chuck, maybe because she's so sad that Nate broke up that she wanted to have someone else who would love her and gave her compliments? So she's very hapy that Nate asks her and she says yes.

At the ball Nate flirts with Blair and Blair flirts with Nate. But there's also Chuck who is also in love with Blair. So Chuck tries to get the attention from Blair, but Blair doesn't like that because all she wants is to get back together with Nate. So when Chuck dances with Blair and tries to kiss her she get's mad and tells him that she doesn't love him and that they have to stop with their relationship. That makes Chuck very sad (which makes him also very cute::)).
