Baby Lucas - HLHS

Keep fighting Lucas. I've been down that road. I was born in Oct. of 87'. Had my first surgery when I was 3 days old. I've had a Norwood, Gleen, I think an attempted Fontan, and a Fontan. My last was 11 years ago. By the grace of God, 23 years old, Trust in God!!!!!

wow! great video, I am a doctor in Tampa Fl so I have seen these babies, I know all about CHD but what I did not know and never had a chance to think about was about their step by step outcome and the how much can be done and can be conquered if only you love like  Jesus loves! I am not a mom yet but if god grants me that wish I, I can only imagine! How is Lucas today?

Pues que puedo desir esto es algo muy difisil mi hijo tiene HLHS ya tubo 2 operasiones y en un a?o le toca tener la 3 estoy precupadisima pues es algo para mi muy difisil de entender tengo 20 a?os mi hijos es mi vida lo mas q kiero alguien me puede aconsejas como sentirme fuerte para la proxima cirujia no saben cada cirujia es para mi un temor muy grande abese kisiera ser yo la que pasara x todo eso.

bless him, hope he is still doing well. my friend had a son called Lucas with the same thing but sadly he passed away at 9 weeks.

Hola familia de LUCAS se por lo estan pasando porq tambien tengo una hija con hlhs pero tambien se que somos padres especiales con hijos especiales y eso nos hace diferentes a los demas,Dios esta en control de todo y todo los dias declaro q el corazon de mi hija es perfecto porq fue disenado por dios y Dios todo lo que hace lo hace perfecto,LUCAS no te conocemos pero estas en nuestras oraciones Dios los bendiga.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm a mom-to-be of a son just diagnosed with HLHS . The sadness that we experienced when we were told to let our baby die in peace is just heartbreaking. I find such peace and hope in knowing our little guy will fight for his life and be another surviver of HLHS.

Thank you for your inspiring story. We are expecting a son on November 16. He has been diagnosed with HLHS. We also believe that God has a purpose for everything. We have a very healthy 2 year old daughter and just took for granted that our son would be completely healthy too. Thank God that He has blessed doctors with the knowledge and technology to perform these life-saving surgeries to give our babies the chance to grow up.
