@royalpanthera7 yeah, I have/had shoulder problems so going all the way down is risky. Regardless, it was far enough to help with lockouts and that sort of thing.
I am a female that weighs 125 and benches 225. I dip with a 45 and a 25 (70) for pretty strict sets of 13. My husband does dips with 3 45's for strict sets of 12 and he only weighs about 180. (5'8") I'm sure he could do 5 or 6 decent reps with one more 45... but the points I made were valid... the video is one of the worst I've ever seen. It's impossible to verify as real. I don't even know WHY anyone would post something so bad. Don't ASSUME that you are some kind of superman, you are not.
While the numbers you are quoting are no doubt impressive, I don't see why you have to come on here and say that my video is fake. I don't think I'm "superman" or anything like that. I never claimed that I'm better than anyone else. This video was for a health and fitness forum challenge and noone there debated it. I cant help it that it was taken with a shitty camera and that the camera man sucked. I did all of this at 19 by the way. I really dont care if you think its real or not. I know it is
something about that patched together video looked 'doctored' or fake. The guy was totally puny and he was supposedly dipping with 4 45's??? Yea- WHATEVER.
well I mean thats me, and it was from my camera phone. AND if you really must, go ahead and look me up in the FHSAA records for my lifts at 169lbs. I want to see you clean and jerk and or pause bench more than me at any weight. ;)
Can you bench more than 200% of your body weight? didnt think so.
well, the plates add up to my bodyweight. The context of the challenge was missing. But yes, you could also say its 200% bodyweight if you want to look at it a different way.
@loxxrider man thats one hell of a dip you just did lol. i can bearly do my own bodyweight like 8-10 dips and dont know if im doin em right or not, 6,0 190 lbs, and how do ya do em soo good dude?
@Mannypacquia0 I can't do them like that anymore. To be honest, whenever I do regular dips they feel hard too. If you just try putting some weight on you may be surprised how much you can do. Start with 25 lbs or so. At the time of this video I was pretty strong. 365 bench at 180lb body weight, so that tells you why I could do them with so much weight. I need to get back into the gym again.
not going very deep... but i couldn't do that well with all that weight

try half of that weight but all the way down instead. Impressive nevertheless

It was for a competition (for fun), so I only did what was required.
I can't really go much lower because of my shoulders though. Its not worth hurting myself.
Thanks for the comment!
