@fireworksgoboom33 First of all are you sure you have Antivirus Live? If you have a different virus the fix will be different from this one. I just recently got a private message from somebody else who couldn't find the 'sysguard' thing. This is what he did and he said it fixed it anyway.
"i got rid of the virus by just scanning the computer with the download you suggested in the video and it worked, so all the viruses are gone"
I don't think it can hurt to give it a try. Good luck!
@fxckthafreeworld first of all, are you sure it's Antivirus Live that your computer has? If it's a different kind, this video probably won't help you.
@fxckthafreeworld That's exactly what they are, fakes. They infect your computer and try to get you to buy their fix for what they did! I hate the bastards! I just searched YouTube for that particular one and there are some videos that show you how to get rid of it. Have you tried any of them yet?
Hey! I haven't been on here lately either. The comments have slowed way down which I hope means the virus has about run it's course. So how are you? When is spring break for you? I bet you're looking forward to it.
sorry for taking so long to reply to this comment lol. The slideshow is still not done yet -.- lol Yeah its march break now :D Well in Canada its one week but im pretty sure in America it's 2 weeks :P right?
I think it's a week for most schools here too. But they don't all have it at the same time. There's no set date for spring break for the whole country. So is your March break just beginning or is it winding down?
@thosethatdont still more to do. But right now i am sooooooo far in the game :D Anyways. It's Sunday the ;last day of March Break so i hope you enjoy it :D
Oliver I'm glad your doing so well with your game. Those things are addicting. LOL I hope your last day of March Break is a nice one. We're having a nice warm day here in the desert. Weeds everywhere. LOL I don't know if you're familiar with chemtrails but our sky is full of them today. :( Other than that, it's a beautiful day. Hubby and I are going to head out in the desert in the Rhino in a few minutes. It's fun. Enjoy your day.
Awesome lucky :D Yeah chemtrails are the smoke from the planes and jets right? :D Excuse my nerdliness lol. I JUST WATCHED COP-OUT. Funnyiest movie ever! *Contains VERY bad words* lol be advised never to watch a movie that says 14A and think "no its not that bad" so you decide to watch w/ your 2 lil brothers and figure out that the movie swears every 2 seconds -.- lol Thanks enjoy yours 22. FINALLY FINISHED THE SLIDESHOW BTW! pce :P
braun747 I hope you've found something that did work for you by now. If not, try this one again and be sure to start it after you have shut your computer down then restarted. Otherwise Antivirus Live will not permit you to do anything.
xcherrycrushx1 I don't really know if it can reinfect. I have a feeling it can though if you wind up on a website that is passing it. But at least if it happens we know what to do. ;)
Wow slipman, glad to hear that. You had me worried there for awhile. LOL You offer some good advice, everybody needs to make sure their malwarebytes is updated.
slipman360 If you did everything, including shutting down your computer and then restarting to begin the steps, I really don't know what to suggest. You might try reading through some of the other comments because other people had luck trying other things. Also, are you sure you have the Antivirus Live infection?
dapianoguy07 I agree whoever made this virus should be doing jail time. But I think 5 years is too lenient.
The full scan with Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware will get rid of it. But I think it's probably possible to get it again. It makes me afraid to do any Google searching on here now since that's how my computer became infected. I still do some but I try to keep it to a minimum.
I was searching with Bing when I got it. I don't think you can blame the search engine. I opened a site called flmsdown net and thats where I got it. If you do a search for flmsdown it has been reported as having malware. Don't go there.
iusemiro no I don't think it's the fault of the search engines either. It just depends on what we open from them. I was researching Christmas customs from around the world when I got it. :( I don't even know which one had the malware. I guess Christmas isn't safe. LOL
Search engines should take some responsibility though. They shoukl warn before entering such sites or even block them . They could show the result in the search but warn that the link has been blocked because of malware.
XxEdgeXxRuleXx that is exactly what it did to me too. But I followed the steps that I put in this video and it worked for me. You have to turn off your computer and restart and right click on the task bar as soon as your computer comes back up.
@XxEdgeXxRuleXx ya same here man just follow the steps when it tells you to log off log off and log back in and once the screen comes up right click the task bar click taskmanager and the box it said for you to click.
I've tried everything. It won't let me bring up the control panel. It won't save any files for the internet virus removal thing. Nothing is working. =[
THANK YOU! when it came up and was there for a while my spybot search and destroy came up and deleted it completely off my computer so i didnt have to use the taskbar and besides i couldnt get on my taskbar fast enough anyway so my search and destroy zapped it lol but your internet recovery technique worked great! i didnt download that virus security thing in the description of your video because i have spybot but thank you it worked great! 5/5
when i click on task manager antivirus live says: Application cannot be executed. The file taskmgr.exe is infected. Do you want to activate antivirus live now?
dannyjoe did you restart your computer? You have to shut it down and then turn it back on and quickly right click on the task bar. If your computer is already booted up the Antivirus Live will not allow you to get into your task manager.
You have to order to go to the task manager as soon as you see the desktop pop up basically! That's what I had to do because I had the same problem. I'm in the middle of fixing mine.
Antivirus Live (Rogue) . Someone just put this excellent video up. They captured the malware at work and you can see it confirms what I told you about disabling programs like windows media player. It gives you only one option whatever you try and do - to go to the purchcase site.
iusemiro thanks for the update. Whoever came up with this virus thought of everything. Or almost everything. These guys are getting better and better at screwing up our computers.
Im gonna go try this out :) But how do i get the task bar to come up before it loads up my laptop loads up so fast that by the time i get to do anything its already there =[ and how do i get the task bar to come up on windows vista ? :) thanks for the video
xwhyxisxthatxtruex Maybe by now you've already gotten rid of the Antivirus Live. But if not, in answer to your question, you have to right click on the task bar at the bottom as soon as you see it. Just start right clicking away and fast! I have Vista too and this worked for me. ;)
That was happening to me too, that it wouldn't let me get to the task manager. I'm actually in the middle of fixing mine right now. How I did it was that I went to it as soon as the desktop came up. Its CTRl alt Delete at the same time. And it should be the same on vista, on vista it just comes up with a list of options instead of automatically going to it.
XYPerfection your advice is worth trying for people that aren't having luck with the steps I used. I have had some say that the CTRL/ALT/Delete didn't work for them. It appears that what works on one computer doesn't necessarily work on another.
randomerd yup, the key is to stop it's popups before they have a chance to load. Then you can get the Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware, run the full scan and wipe out the Antivirus Live.
Thank you so much! I can't believe it actually worked :3 I had to choose a few different options to get to the LAN settings but I found it and was like BAHAHAHA. Hehe. My mom was listening to me like yell at the computer screen saying, "Take that buddy D;" Lol. Thanks sooo much!
Xx7RonaldoxX yes, that is normal for the porn sites to pop up with Antivirus Live. That happened to me too. They know that will freak out a lot of people and make some panic enough to actually pay them to give you the fix for the virus they gave you to begin with. It's all an illegal scam.
@Xx7RonaldoxX thats good then im not the only one getting porn sites popping up. my dad walked in and i had all these porn sites popping up out of no where ! =O
randomerd the Antivirus Live will disable your real anti virus programs. It disabled my AVG. But if you can restart your computer and right click on the task bar as soon as your computer starts up and lets you do that, then follow the other steps in this video it should stop the popups and allow you to do the other steps.
:) I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH! Man I would give you all the worlds money if I could... but i only have $20... anyways i was about to effin' hunt that scammer down and bash his balls in with a hammer and cut them off with a butter knife! >:3 time to get back to my gaming...
needle you are very welcome! btw if you decide to hunt down that scammer and you catch him, please let me know so I can join you in giving him what he deserves!
@thosethatdont i deleted it but now my internet is screwed up. ever since i downloaded it my internet has been messed up. when i put find out the problem on my comp it either says it cannot connect to the dls server or a network cable is unplugged whtat up wit that
lilrockable I haven't had anybody else have that problem with Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware. So that makes me wonder if it was just a coincidence that your Internet became messed up at about the same time you installed it. Have you tried to contact Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware with your problem. Maybe they can rule their program out as being the problem for you. Then at least you would know to look for something else that's the cause.
OverHereDear I wish I had a solution for you. It sounds like you're doing everything right by shutting it off manually then restarting. Are you doing something to make it start in safe mode or is it doing that on it's own?
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be one method that works for everybody gao. I've had people comment that the alt/ctrl/delete will not work for them. I think it's because it takes too long. It's actually quicker to right click on the task bar. Also, all that you said will only stop the popups. Same with doing it the way I said. You have to use the free Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware and run the full scan to get rid of the virus or it will come back the next time you boot up.
Stopping the popups just enables you to be able to download the Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware so a scan can be run. There are probably other anti malware programs that will work too. But just stopping the popups isn't going to get rid of the virus. All that being said, if one method doesn't work for somebody, by all means, try a different one. But don't pay these jerks that sent out the virus for their fix. They belong behind bars!
gao048 consider yourself very lucky then. It must not have gotten as deep rooted into your computer as it did a lot of ours. If you read through the comments you'll see that some people tried to save time by just doing the quick scan only to have it come back. Anyway, glad what you did worked for you.
TheRealMysteryKid even if you still had McAfee and SpySweeper, you still might have gotten this virus. I have a couple of different anti spyware programs as well as AVG and it didn't stop it. And it disabled the AVG because I was getting messages from AVG telling me it wasn't working. After I got rid of the virus the AVG came back and started working again. Anyway, glad your computer is clean again. ;)
lilrockable it depends on how much stuff you have on your hard drive. It took almost 1 1/2 hours for mine to scan. But if you want to be rid of the virus you have to do the full scan.
@thosethatdont thanx and can i delete the malware bytes thing? cause despite the fact it did help me, ever since i downloaded it my internet keeps going on and off
lilrockable (cute name) I guess by now you've already made your decision whether or not to delete the malware bytes program. I would tell you that it would probably be ok to delete it. Just make sure you write it down so if you need it again you will remember what it was called. ;)
Radley I really don't know if McAfe can get rid of this virus or not. I doubt Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware is the only one that will work. However, it's the only one that I can personally say worked for me. If you try your McAfe and it does work, please post back here to let others know that it's also an option. Even if you try it and it doesn't work it would be nice if you let people know that too.
Radley I understand your suspicious attitude. I was hesitant at first too. After all, you don't know me. But the free Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware is safe. And it worked for me. You can read comments on here from other people who said these steps worked for them as well.
i've got some problems. . . i went to task bar and i couldn't find any sysgaurd.exe, and theres this effin security warning pop up saying "Application cannot be executed. the file ______.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?"
so i cant to through the internet options to chech the LAN stuff. what do i do and please help me
zoulburg I hope you didn't click to "activate your antivirus software" because that is a popup from the Antivirus Live to try to get you to pay them for the fix to get rid of the virus they gave your computer. It's all part of their scam. Let me know how you're doing.
I did exactly what you said in the video, and for now it seems it's not checking all those boxes in LAN after I unchecked them like before, right now I'm running the full scan, so far it's at 22,000 items scanned and 13 are infected, will it fix them all automatically or will I have to because this virus is really annoying and I would just like it to get out of my computer..
XIIFox when you get to the end of the scan it will give you options for dealing with the items it found. You have to click on the one you want to use. I forget what the options are.
this is what i did..........first i restart my PC then run it in SAFE MODE.... i use to check my task manager but i didn't see anything like sysguard.exe or asdwqdwd something like that..... after that i run my anti malware then scan and i've got 11 infections clean it restart my PC and it's fine again :))........
I've tried to recreate my experience of Antivirus Live in my video by editing images I've found related to it. I wanted to save screen captures of what was happenning at the time but Antivirus Live was even able to prevent me from doing simple tasks like using the Paint app, notepad and any other programme for that matter.
iusemiro That;s weird how it prevented you from doing off line things as well. I don't know if it did that to mine or not because during the infection I didn't try to do anything else.
Yeah that's the point I was making. Most people just try and get back online. I wanted to get screen captures of it later to show everybody how bad it was. I was taking a laid back approach because I really wasn't in the mood to try and deal with it. I thought maybe I'd just slow my breathing down and not panic , relax and listen to some music , maybe edit a video but the ********** wouldn't even let me do any of those things. I really want to strangle them.
Now you mention it , I'm able to remember I did feel more scared than I could have imagined. I had to leave it because I'd promised to take my wife shopping.
It hit me late at night and after messing around trying to fix it for a couple of hours I just gave up and went to bed. The next morning I got on my old one that takes about an hour to boot up and I got back to the forum where somebody had posted this fix. It looked to be the easiest for me to understand so I tried it. Luckily it worked.
my task manager is stupid.. it used to be like your until I reformatted my comp a while back.. my task manager is just one thing that only lets me see the windows that are currently open.
ok i had it and prolly still do but i have no more pop-ups or virus threats but my internet dosent work so now im using another user account to be able to use the internet how do i fix that
should i trust this site? pleaseee reply, i am going 2 commit suicide.. soon. but anyways atleast i can still go on the internet now. THANKSS!!! i wanna rape you :) no homo
Josh you can trust the free Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware program. If you don't do it, the next time you start your computer the virus will be back and you'll have to start all over again. And be sure to do the full scan after you download Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware. It could take a long time but it's worth it. It took mine about 1 1/2 hours to scan. Good luck!

Anyone know who made this crap anyway?
ZurkonTheDestroyer 2 years ago
ZurkonTheDestroyer I sure wish I did know who was responsible for that virus.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Thank you so much! I can't believe it actually worked :3 I had to choose a few different options to get to the LAN settings but I found it and was like BAHAHAHA. Hehe. My mom was listening to me like yell at the computer screen saying, "Take that buddy D;" Lol. Thanks sooo much!

wait is it normal for porn sites poping up??? and some viagra shit that makes ur d**k get bigger pops up to??? that normal??
Xx7RonaldoxX 2 years ago
Xx7RonaldoxX yes, that is normal for the porn sites to pop up with Antivirus Live. That happened to me too. They know that will freak out a lot of people and make some panic enough to actually pay them to give you the fix for the virus they gave you to begin with. It's all an illegal scam.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
@Xx7RonaldoxX thats good then im not the only one getting porn sites popping up. my dad walked in and i had all these porn sites popping up out of no where ! =O

OMG ME 2 !!!! lol
dannyjoe64 2 years ago
jaja yea but i fixed it!! tzzz just left it off for about 3 days unpluged evrythin and its not showing up!
Xx7RonaldoxX 2 years ago
Xx7RonaldoxX Wow! I've never heard of that fix before but whatever works! Glad you got rid of it. :)
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Yeah, I think the key is to try to stop it temporarily before it can load. Then to do the malware full scan to actually get rid of the damn thing.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
randomerd the Antivirus Live will disable your real anti virus programs. It disabled my AVG. But if you can restart your computer and right click on the task bar as soon as your computer starts up and lets you do that, then follow the other steps in this video it should stop the popups and allow you to do the other steps.

@thosethatdont i deleted it but now my internet is screwed up. ever since i downloaded it my internet has been messed up. when i put find out the problem on my comp it either says it cannot connect to the dls server or a network cable is unplugged whtat up wit that
lilrockable 2 years ago
lilrockable I haven't had anybody else have that problem with Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware. So that makes me wonder if it was just a coincidence that your Internet became messed up at about the same time you installed it. Have you tried to contact Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware with your problem. Maybe they can rule their program out as being the problem for you. Then at least you would know to look for something else that's the cause.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
On its own, it goes to the 'we apologize for the inconvienence etc'; very annoying
OverHereDear 2 years ago
After manually shutting it off and starting it, it keeps freezing in f8 mode um lol any ideas would be helpful
OverHereDear 2 years ago
OverHereDear I wish I had a solution for you. It sounds like you're doing everything right by shutting it off manually then restarting. Are you doing something to make it start in safe mode or is it doing that on it's own?
thosethatdont 2 years ago
hello, all this seems to much,
all you have to do to get rid of this is
1.log off
2. log on
3. quickly hit alt ctrl delete,
4. go to process list
5. then simple look for "sysguard.exe" or anything alike and end it by right clicking it.
gao048 2 years ago
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be one method that works for everybody gao. I've had people comment that the alt/ctrl/delete will not work for them. I think it's because it takes too long. It's actually quicker to right click on the task bar. Also, all that you said will only stop the popups. Same with doing it the way I said. You have to use the free Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware and run the full scan to get rid of the virus or it will come back the next time you boot up.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Stopping the popups just enables you to be able to download the Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware so a scan can be run. There are probably other anti malware programs that will work too. But just stopping the popups isn't going to get rid of the virus. All that being said, if one method doesn't work for somebody, by all means, try a different one. But don't pay these jerks that sent out the virus for their fix. They belong behind bars!
thosethatdont 2 years ago
@thosethatdont well, i just got it today, and i tried out my method and then it never came back after that.
gao048 2 years ago
gao048 consider yourself very lucky then. It must not have gotten as deep rooted into your computer as it did a lot of ours. If you read through the comments you'll see that some people tried to save time by just doing the quick scan only to have it come back. Anyway, glad what you did worked for you.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Still frozen....
OverHereDear 2 years ago
@OverHereDear
hey try my method on top
gao048 2 years ago
TheRealMysteryKid even if you still had McAfee and SpySweeper, you still might have gotten this virus. I have a couple of different anti spyware programs as well as AVG and it didn't stop it. And it disabled the AVG because I was getting messages from AVG telling me it wasn't working. After I got rid of the virus the AVG came back and started working again. Anyway, glad your computer is clean again. ;)
thosethatdont 2 years ago
by chance how long does the full scan take on malware bytes?
lilrockable 2 years ago
lilrockable it depends on how much stuff you have on your hard drive. It took almost 1 1/2 hours for mine to scan. But if you want to be rid of the virus you have to do the full scan.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
@thosethatdont thanx and can i delete the malware bytes thing? cause despite the fact it did help me, ever since i downloaded it my internet keeps going on and off
lilrockable 2 years ago
lilrockable (cute name) I guess by now you've already made your decision whether or not to delete the malware bytes program. I would tell you that it would probably be ok to delete it. Just make sure you write it down so if you need it again you will remember what it was called. ;)
thosethatdont 2 years ago
i use McAfe, can i just skip the end step and use McAfe to scan my comp?
Radley099 2 years ago
Radley I really don't know if McAfe can get rid of this virus or not. I doubt Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware is the only one that will work. However, it's the only one that I can personally say worked for me. If you try your McAfe and it does work, please post back here to let others know that it's also an option. Even if you try it and it doesn't work it would be nice if you let people know that too.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
yea man it rely worked i fucking hate this god damn viures
marybob321 2 years ago
is the website at the end of the vid safe or is this another virus your leading us too?
Radley099 2 years ago
Radley I understand your suspicious attitude. I was hesitant at first too. After all, you don't know me. But the free Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware is safe. And it worked for me. You can read comments on here from other people who said these steps worked for them as well.

i've got some problems. . . i went to task bar and i couldn't find any sysgaurd.exe, and theres this effin security warning pop up saying "Application cannot be executed. the file ______.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?"
so i cant to through the internet options to chech the LAN stuff. what do i do and please help me
zoulburg123 2 years ago
zoulburg I hope you didn't click to "activate your antivirus software" because that is a popup from the Antivirus Live to try to get you to pay them for the fix to get rid of the virus they gave your computer. It's all part of their scam. Let me know how you're doing.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Help im stuck frozen land after hitting f8....i hate that i got this damned virus in th first place.
OverHereDear 2 years ago
OverHereDear were you able to get rid of the virus? Or are you still stuck?
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Thanks for the help, scan finished with 60 items found, and I managed to delete them all just by hitting delete, virus is gone :)
XllFoxllX 2 years ago
XIIFox it found 60 items?! Wow! I'm so glad you were able to get rid of them.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
I just noticed also, the antivirus live symbol is now gone from my taskbar :)
XllFoxllX 2 years ago
Yeah, that stupid shield icon thing goes away. They try to make it look like some official thing by having that sitting on the taskbar.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
yea it opened up porn...
marybob321 2 years ago
I hope you got rid of it marybob.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
I did exactly what you said in the video, and for now it seems it's not checking all those boxes in LAN after I unchecked them like before, right now I'm running the full scan, so far it's at 22,000 items scanned and 13 are infected, will it fix them all automatically or will I have to because this virus is really annoying and I would just like it to get out of my computer..
XllFoxllX 2 years ago
XIIFox when you get to the end of the scan it will give you options for dealing with the items it found. You have to click on the one you want to use. I forget what the options are.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
this is what i did..........first i restart my PC then run it in SAFE MODE.... i use to check my task manager but i didn't see anything like sysguard.exe or asdwqdwd something like that..... after that i run my anti malware then scan and i've got 11 infections clean it restart my PC and it's fine again :))........
THX FOR ANTI-MALWARE!!! :D

thosethatdont 2 years ago
I've tried to recreate my experience of Antivirus Live in my video by editing images I've found related to it. I wanted to save screen captures of what was happenning at the time but Antivirus Live was even able to prevent me from doing simple tasks like using the Paint app, notepad and any other programme for that matter.
iusemiro 2 years ago
iusemiro That;s weird how it prevented you from doing off line things as well. I don't know if it did that to mine or not because during the infection I didn't try to do anything else.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Yeah that's the point I was making. Most people just try and get back online. I wanted to get screen captures of it later to show everybody how bad it was. I was taking a laid back approach because I really wasn't in the mood to try and deal with it. I thought maybe I'd just slow my breathing down and not panic , relax and listen to some music , maybe edit a video but the ********** wouldn't even let me do any of those things. I really want to strangle them.
iusemiro 2 years ago
OMG! So when you tried to just do something to calm down it was messed up too! I would have really freaked out at that point!
thosethatdont 2 years ago
Now you mention it , I'm able to remember I did feel more scared than I could have imagined. I had to leave it because I'd promised to take my wife shopping.
iusemiro 2 years ago
It hit me late at night and after messing around trying to fix it for a couple of hours I just gave up and went to bed. The next morning I got on my old one that takes about an hour to boot up and I got back to the forum where somebody had posted this fix. It looked to be the easiest for me to understand so I tried it. Luckily it worked.
thosethatdont 2 years ago
my task manager is stupid.. it used to be like your until I reformatted my comp a while back.. my task manager is just one thing that only lets me see the windows that are currently open.

should i trust this site? pleaseee reply, i am going 2 commit suicide.. soon. but anyways atleast i can still go on the internet now. THANKSS!!! i wanna rape you :) no homo
JJOSH5 2 years ago
Josh you can trust the free Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware program. If you don't do it, the next time you start your computer the virus will be back and you'll have to start all over again. And be sure to do the full scan after you download Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware. It could take a long time but it's worth it. It took mine about 1 1/2 hours to scan. Good luck!
