Ok, Yahiko died. Nagato went crazy and got his Rinnegan and escaped with his last remaining teammate, Konan. Nagato founded the Akatsuki organisation with Konan for world domination in the hope to create world peace and renamed himself Pein.

Then other members joined such as Zetsu, Orochimaru, Itachi, Kisame, Sasori, Deidara, Kakuzu and Hidan. Then Tobi came along and he revealed himself to Pein as Madara Uchiha. Kisame knew, Kakuzu used to know Madara but didnt knw he was Tobi. Nagato=Founder

naruto1236845 Madara Uchiha is not the founder of the Akatasuki there are three people how are the founders of the Akatasuki one is Yahiko he was the first leader the 2 one is Nagato the last is Konan when Yahiko died Nagato took over Nagato is the 7th pain the 6th pain is Yahiko. Konan does not have control over bodies. Nagato does that using his black bars and charkra. Yahiko ended up merely being the main body Nagato used and Konan stayed with Nagato because she had no where else to go and they were her friends.

No Sherlock. Nagato is the 7th pain. Read the manga 449. He controls all other six pain techniques. He is outside life and death according to konan. He owns the techniques and uses it through means of corpses who act as transmitters. Yahiko is allready dead so u cannot control a dead person.

Nagato identity was secret even to akatsuki. Remember kabuto gave file containing information on akatsuki, Yet konoha did not know about pein's identity.
