@NiHaoZippo That's not stupid. Paladin Press has a TON of material on street fighting if you visit paladin-press (dot) com. Just enter "street fighting" in the search field at the top left. Or if MMA/UFC-style is what you need, we have many products in that area as well. Just type MMA in the search field.
Please keep comments intelligent, on topic and constructive.
Please watch the entire video and listen to what is being said before making a comment. We welcome constructive criticism. That means if you do not agree, please offer what you would do differently and why. The value in opposing opinions is that we all can learn even more from constructive discourse. But it must be civil.
If you cannot conduct yourself in an adult-manner, you will not be tolerated.
The point of learning and drilling a myriad of different techniques is so that in a real fight you will always have options for how to react to your opponent's moves. People often make the mistake of assuming that any demonstrated move or set of techniques depends on the adversary making specific attacks, but any demonstration is only showing a small range of potential reactions to any particular movement by the enemy.
That said, this video is a bit difficult to follow unless you're already well versed in the style being displayed. The instructor could stand to slow down a bit and go over the moves more deliberately for beginners, although for an advanced student this is probably fine.
I have watched Mark's material over and over again. Not only does he know the techniques inside and out but He honestly understand how to teach through this media (video).
@whitesands Hi, whitesands. The DVD was just made available this morning and the link is in the details of the above video clip. You might be the very first to order. Nice job.
That has to be the worst escape from a front hold / bear hug I've ever seen. How about taking your right arm over both his, bringing him closer to you & knocking him unconscious with a right elbow. Or grabbing both his arms, with a step back and twisting both his arms to the outside, then a full kick to the groin with the foot you stepped back with, steping down behind him, and sweeping his leg in the same motion, then a stomp to his throat, or chest if u don't want to kill him.

Charlie Sheen's fire-breathing fists would teach you manners, you insolent street urchin. #winning
@nycupperes Wow where did that come from? Just so I'm sure you know this DVD is more geared to Sports then street fighting, right? You don't try to kill someone in a cagefight.
Mark, well explained, great practical techniques. Thank you once again.
