  • F*** yeah! Philippines MoFo!!! wooooo!!!!!!!

i forgot where that gym is but i saw the same gym in a show on discovery channel. pac-man uses that gym sometimes when he trains here at home.

@mmatrainingcom can you post a video about what to keep in mind when you start out muay thai?

im also on the swimming team, so could anyone tell me how i could balance out the two? training wise....

  • in aboooooot lol good workout bro

  • very inspiring

  • I've loved MMA since I was little and my family would watch it, and I finally convinced my mom to put me in it.

I'm a girl and the only classes around my town are mostly guy trainers and guy-filled classes. I keep hearing from friends about how girls and guys differ in training and fighting approaches, and I'm wondering if maybe it's going to be especially difficult for me to go into a guy's class rather than wait for a girl one.

Anyone have any input on that? Will I get the same results?

  • @RockRebel219

You'll learn how to fight and be on par with the men in your classes and then you can play around with tweaking certain moves to your own style if you need to. Really though, there is no difference. The only difference is that you working out with men won't make you look like a bulky man because of the testosterone differences in a male and female body. Also, many females tend to have better endurance than males. In MMA, endurance is key. I'm no expert, but I did my research.

  • hey is that a flag of The Republic of Philippines? if so you guys do Filipino marital arts too?

  • This is hard, physically & Mentally!!!

  • Has anyone ever completed this workout?Even GSP would have severe trouble with this.

  • @stratocaster1986able Don't be stupid. This workout is tough for sure, but you have no idea how hard professional fighters push, especially the best pound for pound fighter who defended his title more than 5 times. All champions earn their victories through hard work and great determination.

  • @stratocaster1986able Reason I say it is because I've seen Sean Sherks workouts and that guy is very fit and his workouts aren't as crazy as this,-and he's a pro.

  • MAS da best!!!!

  • wow thats intense! i cant get to a mma training place until april next year so i'm just going nuts on conditioning until then, those pullups are crazy, cant wait to get stuck into it

  • how is the name of the song from 0:00 to 0:20

  • philippine flag in the bg!!!!YEAH!cool learned a lot.thanks.:)))

  • what ever fucks you up n this deffo will !!!! i like !!!

  • man who are u batman shit sounds like something he would do

  • if you can pull off this guys workout, you should be wearing a cape and fighting crime.

  • God damn. Whyyy. THis is so ridiculous haha. THat would SUK!

  • You do each exercise for one minute then switch without rest in between? If so, can you redo this video, showing yourself completing all this? Also I don't get you say you like to do a 10-15 minute set, doing 2 or 3 without breaks. Can you explain this in more detail? Each exercise is one minute, so you mean you do all exercises in a row non-stop twice? Totaling approx 20 minutes of this without any rest at all?

  • @SleepingPeace

Same basis as circuit training. You go and go and go, until time is up, or whatever goal you set. So say you choose 5 exercises and you want to go 15 minutes of circuit training, then go do three sets straight. The more sets you do the longer the circuit, or say only 1 set for a pre-weight training warmup as opposed to light lifting these plyometric/endurance boosting exercises are great..

  • 1 minute straight guys

  • a lot of these workouts are similar to what is done in tkd classes. interesting.

  • this is basically a HIIT workout

  • thx man ;)

  • intense dude

  • holy shit! I would die after that. I was thinking about doing muay thai to get in shape. looks like i got more than i bargained for!

  • Right, I've been debating this for a while. I come from a Tae Kwon Do background but I've always had a thing for Muay Thai. I've got the oppurtunity to do one of them. Can someone please push me onto the said of Muay Thai?

  • @WaldoGrapelliOHare i do both 4 times a week 2 times each its really useful using tae kwon do in muay thai

  • Wow, that's our flag!=)

  • :) i only recently started muay thai i think its sooooo goood :D haha this workout should help me out alot thanks :D

  • yea, his mma record is 2-6, i said look at his muay thai record buddy!!

  • why is this titled muay thai 101? lol

  • nice. ill try this.

"dont use your hands for the cave walk"

    he did lmao

  • those pullups are epic

  • i support your video man this is an all body workout and its working out the most important muscle of your body...

    your brain...

your mind has to get strong!! how?

strong mind!!pain is your friend! or it can hurt you! when your mind says i cant anymore you have to challenge your self!!!! ! or your gonna be begging at a fight to stop the pain!

keep it up man thx for a nice video

  • who's Filipino in that gym?

  • you f*****ckss must be stupid...

look at the title... it says CONDITIONING work out. witch means this is a workout for CONDITIONING. it doesnt mention anything about it being a single training method. i got money too bitch. i put mine on you being a little p***uss*y trying to act tuff on youtube

  • i c a philippine flag is there a filipino?

  • omg lol amazing pull ups

  • I disagree many fighters use circut training for conditioning plus what idiot would just use this for a single training method you have to combine strength training with it aswell as cardio but nothing beats simple sparring

  • dude, I couldn't agree with you more....but as far as the "what idiot" part..lemme tell you. I live in Philly and there are DOZENS of mma schools out here. Most of them do shit like this and nothing more. It shows in in their fights when dudes have no clue how to...well...fight. Sparring and circut training are concepts that elude many fighters and their coaches. You sound like you're on the right track though. Keep it up dude!

  • you clearly have no clue about the guy making this video as a fighter... I train with him and I tell you now he will do better than good against any1 at your school

  • I guarantee he won't. We don't have any amateurs at my school. There are seven of us, all pro, all undefeated. I've been around. 12 pro fights with 12 twelve pro victories. 10 KOs and two submissions. My 145 pounder would crush this guy. I guarantee that!! Don't think so? I got money, let's put something on it.

  • ive got a workout please comment on it for advice

Monday- High reps low weight all body

Tuesday- Cardio, mild workout (push ups abs pull ups)

Wednesday- Heavy weight workout all body max out on all stations

Thursday- Explosive workout (sprinting lunges other speed developement routines abs)

Friday- All body workout again lots of pushups, pullups, planks, biceps and traps)

Saturday- Long run 10-12 miles some pushups dips and pull ups

idk if this is a good routine please comment ty:D

  • unless your pro your overdoing it i think man.

  • ive heard this before but i feel to become a pro you must train like one

  • yeah but you need to progress otherwise you will get too tired and just stop training all together, most pros have been training from young ages and theyre bodies have developed into intense training slowly, best thing to do is train 3 times a week for about a month, then train 4 times a week then a few more months later than 5 times, you have to allow your body to recover otherwise you will damage joints etc, its better to do 3 great workouts a week than 5 or 6 shiity workouts.

  • he is pro..... nuff said

  • LOL

  • whats the song at the beginning?

  • just after the ball workouts it looked like you were getting pumped to do some mad breakdancing...

seriously though, decent vid, nice workouts involved

  • if i have learned one thing than that its not about how *strong* or muscular a guy looks....

most guys you think are *strong* on the first look are tired after 30 seconds of action and get thrown around like dolls because they are so gassed out

a weak looking guy may not KO you with 1 punch...but after 2 minutes..when you are totally worn out and his punches still come stinging in like rockets you will curse your oxygen consuming muscles

  • yes and no

techniqe is important cardio endrance is what they strive for speed

with strength yo have an advantage

techniqe and endrance are more important

  • @nekftw not always but you're right...i seen it happen many times :)

  • @nekftw Exactly thank you finally someone who understands!

  • @nekftw

another gud thing about 'weak looking' people is that they are underestimated and may not be taken seriously in a match. kinda like me

  • @nekftw i agree

  • @nekftw I couldn't agree with you more...cardi is hwere its at.

  • @nekftw There are advantages and disadvantages to any body type. If you're 250lbs of lean muscle don't go out there trying to fight like Clay Guida or you will gas in 20 seconds no matter how hard you've trained. The lactic acid just builds up too fast in big muscles so you have to learn to control your pace and relax as much as possible. As a big heavyweight, I like to force my opponents to carry my weight by always keeping constant pressure on them. This gasses my opponents and leaves me fresh

  • aint it look like this guy looks kinda weak? but i no hes in hella good shape, if anyone likes watchin street fights hit up my page

  • good stuff! I had no idea jeff had videos up on here! this is the kinda training i've been missing out on since I left, Im gaining muscle and strength but my lungs and conditioning is garbage...gotta get back into it.

  • lol good stuff jeff i didn't know you had videos on training

  • if thats what it takes to be like fedor im doing it,but i might die doing this training.

  • right after that......

  • thats fucking intense wish i wasnt a scrawny weak guy

  • i was, im slowly working back into not being a weakling. Stick with it man and you'll get results!

  • Oh fuck that's a killer 15-min workout. Thanks for sharing. Canadians represent :)

  • Why the fuck did the fact that your Canadian get a -3.

    Canadian here... stupid fucks.

  • These are all aerobic conditioning workouts.. it's good though for increasing your cardio. I've been looking for anaerobic conditioning workouts for MMA, anyone know a link?

  • Dang these work out will absolutely help me get in shape to TOTALLY crush army BCT. Thanks alot!

  • holy shit..killer workout.

  • MAS THAI BOXING! muay thai STRONG, atta boy jeff! body shot body sot, oh body body shot!
