My inner geek is screaming to get out, so here it goes. The Albatross biplanes (of which Ransack is) is strictly WWI native. The Treaty of Paris forbade Germany from having Fighters of bombers in the Inter-war years.

Great review and all, but I just wanna point out: Those aren't missile's. Missile's fire out, rocket-propelled. Those are just plain and simple bombs, biplane's would unlatch them and let them fall. Pew.

I bought this guy today and I love it!

Only downside is that I have the european version, so the information on the back of the packaging is reduced to one sentence (in 12 different languages that is) and the stats are missing.

It looks quite nice. He also has a battle mode, wich I find quite nice. Altough it's not so very different from the normal robot mode, it's still a nice addition.

was a biplane in one of the photos that Simmons had, when Wheelie was showing them where to find the "Old" transformers? You could kind of make a case for that being this character. I know there was a MOdel T- looking car (Which would make an awesome figure)

Ransack's robot mode, much like the alt mode, does a good job of showing just how out-of-date he is compaired to more modern Decepticons. His face has kind of a Terminator thing going for it.

When did he show u[ in the movie? Was he just in one of the pictures that a certain former agent had?

People are likely going to tell you this a lot but WW1 was the time of the Biplane not WW2 (they had new fighters like the Mustang, the plane not the car for those who don't know)
