I have always been a Sade fan, but since she and her wonderful band have been in hiatus for 10 years, they have not been in my CD rotation too heavily...BUT after hearing her new CD, I have watched every last video on YouTube in the past week...LOL! Sade's band is soooo tight. They sound exactly like the records even when they change tempo or riffs it's not played in a hurry like a lot concerts. They player slow.

I agree, very seldom do you find a band & an artist tha has great chemistry on stage, or can sound the same on record or even better at a live concert. In This case, Sade takes her performances & story telling in song live to another level with her firece band. Even when she stops singing, her band is still telling a story ! I just love it!

You have to have people playing your music that can feel, hear, & see the story in the song as the artist does. If not, then why even bother.

I was at her concert in Sept 2001 here in Southern Calif. I actually saw her twice that year. It was the most amazing, heart-filled and intense live concert I've ever been too. I literally was sad when it ended.
