Almost. Gray is a color, and white is what happens if you see all the colors of light in exactly the same spot, but black is the absence of color, at least if you're talking about colors of "light" which is what the show deals with (crayon colors or colors you paint with don't work quite the same way as light, so I won't go into those here).

Another thing that bugs me is that Rainbow Brite's work is supposed to be vital to life as we know it, yet characters like the con man and the sorcerer don't seem too concerned (or even know) about the devastating effects of effectively ruining Rainbow Land.

It is funny looking at these now. It is also funny to see all the little mess ups. Like the Color Kids switch instraments. The first time, when they are practicing, each kid had a different instrament from the second time they play them (in the parade).
