WHOA, SHIT! I have the EXACT same LP along with Synchronicity left over from the '80's. I had Zenyatta Mondatta, and saw it recently, but I don't know where the hell I put it. It's in pretty good condition, but my player refuses to play B-Sides at all costs, no matter what record, so it kind of sucks for me.

Thanks for posting this. There's a difference in the vinyl analog sound vs the digital sound. Play Wrapped Around Your Finger on vinyl and then play the digital version and you'll notice a big difference in the drums and the sound of the symbols.

@Elastikid You are hearing it as your ear was designed to hear it. Digital, although good and even the best gear doesn't have the sampling speed near fast enough to get all of the ambient noises that record players picked up. and also the ambient noises that are everywhere, no matter how small. Believe me, that needle cartridge picked it up. Sampling speed needs to be in the Megahertz range not 44,000 Hz File size would more than 50X as larger than now too.

They started somewhere around the punk era about 1977, Police released the first singles and lp in 1978.

1981 that's nearly 30 years ago. Charted Dec 81, got to 12, 8 weeks in chart. 3rd single from Ghosts in the Machine, Oct 81, no.1 album, 27 weeks in chart. Biggest LP Synchronicity no.1 48 weeks. Nice to see them together again performing. It's 32 years since they started in 1987. Next year will see sting's 60th birthday.

What I like about Stings bass playing here is it's not nice and police jazz playing, it's almost rude sounding in your face.  Good reggae playing by Sting.

This album came out when I was a freshman in high school. I used to play the vinyl album over and over and over again. Never got tired. This album is excellent.  All their albums are great but this one is their greatest in my opinion.

@AzTrailRider57 Well, I very carefully A-B ed CD and my Stanton 681EEE and the CD is slightly better but you need Stax SR-5 Earspeakers to hear it. Virtually identical. I am an old hand. When you build your own gear it helps as well (amplifiers and active crossovers and speaker systems).
