I am a Christian. I didn't expect a Disney movie to be about Jesus or Christianity. I did hope that it wouldn't include black magic or the shadow man. I feel those topics are inappropriate. In that case, we will just opt out on seeing the movie. Just to clarify-- Lord of the Rings was also written by a Christian author.

People just need to stop over reacting about a kid's movie. It's a kids movie. They tackle all kinds of magic in these Disney movies. "Princess in the Frog" has black magic" just like "Snow White". "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty" have fairies... It's all magic and kids know it. It's not like kids actually believe it. I was watching Lion King and Aladdin and at a very young age I knew it wasn't real. People need to stop over reacting. It's a movie, a story. Get over it.

Cenk doesn't understand and I can see why considering his lack of faith. Christians aren't concerned people will worship Harry Potter exactly, no it's more about how Satan uses the media to pull people away from God. If you can't tell the difference between the two, you have greater problems to deal with in life. Now before you start demanding proof, God doesn't have to prove himself to those that are ignorant of him. God will however show himself to those that are saved. On the flip side, Satan uses lust, sin, and all those dark impulses including sadist religions(voodoo) to win his followers.

God is real and he communicates with those that are willing to hear him. Take all your pagan nonsense and leave it for the movies and video games. I'm a huge Tolkien fan, but I'm smart enough to see the themes. Same goes for Star Wars. The dark side of the Force is clearly the devil and the light side is God's light.
