Classic. Thanks for uploading. Now, if someone could upload "The Bubblemen Rap", that would be brilliant! I can only remember in HS a buddy of mine had anything and everything to do with Bauhaus...and this 12" was included, with the B-side as the Bubblemen Rap.
Excellent. I sometimes think I dreamed these guys despite having seen them live in Denver. The opening band was okay too -- Loads of Rickets or something like that.
DUDE ! you have my eternal gratitude :). Been lookin for this song for years ( though I forget for a few years. They were on MTV chillout zone once and chillin it was...
Them Bauhaus/ Love & Rockets' boys got something that not too many "other" bands of their "ilk" ( and "genre" ) got and that's a fucking SENSE OF HUMOR!!! ( If only the SAME "applied" to some of their "fans" here on fucking "You Tube" who think REAL fans should TREAT this whole shit like is fucking BRAIN SURGERY and NOT have FUN with this!!!) Snort!!! My ass!!!... Anyway, this song/ video are pretty cool!!!
I came to the asounding revelation last night that ZIggy Stardust and the bubblemen were both hypersigils meant to aid in the fulfillment of an edgar cayce prophecy.
For those of you morons out there that aren't in the know, The Bubblemen were not meant to be serious. They were the alter ego of the band Love and Rockets and nothing more, other than the fact that they hail from the planet Girl. Yes, youtube lets you post what you want and the forum is open but maybe you could do a tiny bit of research before posting any derogatory comments on something that was intended to be a joke in the first place!
My Mom helped me make a stuffed bubbleman way back when. When I went to their Earth Sun Moon tour, a tour manager saw me with it and grabbed my hand and I grabbed my friend's hand, and she grabbed another friends hand and we all went back stage and the band freaked out! They loved it. I took their pictures with it and they took my picture with their cameras! I still have it covered with their autographs. It is my fondest rock and roll memory.
browsing a record shop in greenwich (London) many many moons ago, found this 12in , saw the love and rcokets logo on it, and thought what the fuck and bought it, don't have a turntable any more, great to hear it again :-)

The first (and only) time I saw this video was in the mid 90s and I was really stoned.
It's been about 17 years and that is all I can really say at this point.
Thank you.

There's something to be said about talented musicians that don't take themselves too seriously. In my experience, the inverse is usually the case.

Imagine being a Bauhaus fan back in 81 or something and the glimpsing into the future and seeing that they would then do something like this. LOL
The bubblemen are the shit!
