Gundam X was a nice change of pace from some of the more Mainstream Gundam series. Best thing about it was they put the main character in the worst case post-apocalyptic/post-nuclear winter scenario possible, make it so that he has to deal with things bigger than him on a daily basis, and NOT watch him whine about how unfair his life was and/or the family he lost/never knew...

@JRGomez81 The reason Garrod doesn't whine as much as other Gundam protagonists is, unlike them, he's had to endure extreme hardship for 15 years. When you endure such hardship since the day you were born, you get used to it, and it doesn't make you as depressed as it normally would.

But in the first episode. Garrod tried to shoot the Satellite again, which means he was foolish to think it was able to shoot again.

But look at Wing Zero, overpowered and people just come back with it's "gundanium armor" and shit. How can Wing Zero even shoot that thing again and again? Not to mention it blew up a colony. Now when they made the movie, much better.. Wing Zero custom did NOT handle the shot but still got the job done.

The only thing I did not like about the movies were the redigns of the gundams. especially wing zero's. I like when it wing zero had it's mobile armor form.

They should have them officially be upgraded in EW, not some cheap redesign.

Wing Zero did not handle cause of the damage done by Altron in Space. Wing Zero could HAVE handle several shots.

Gundam Wing could have been the best Gundam series ever had they not had all that unrealistic political/peace crap mixed up with it.......hated that so much....Gundam X is better than Gundam Wing but unfortunately thanks to fan girls never got to see the light of day

Everyone has their different opinions, the politics and emotions part of GW was the driving point of the series and it survived in the movie which many agreed was a huge improvement. The problem to me was GW needed more action and balance in the technology which was severely lacking, GX was a good series I enjoyed as well but the suits themselves lacked originality as they had too many resemblances from GW units. Story was great, Garrod was alright but wasn't the strong pilot I had imagined.

The Wing suits were all balanced, each one was built with a theme in mind and was superior to it's own fighting style and mean's of combat. It was a little over exaggerated but the movie brought it down to realistic levels, in the end for any MS it's all about the pilots skills not how big your gun is.

Well, the Serpents uses Neo-Titanium rounds for their Gatlings guns, which is almost as durable as Gundanium, that's probably why the Gundams were getting damaged, and Marameia's Bunker is shielded with many layers of Neo-Titanium, so I expected that WZC had a hard time getting through.

That's most likely not the reason. Given that this is the TBR, it could blast through Gundarium, so what is a few more layers of neo Titanium? What did it in was the previous damage having left it in a destitute state (submerged beneath the ocean and having taken hits from Altron).

It's not really a few layers, the bunker is created with many layers of Neo Titanium and has a shield on each level if you watched the OVA.

Well, Gundam Ace stated that the bunker could withstand a colony drop but we all know how Gundam Ace exaggerates stuff.

The damage of WZC wasn't really the point though, but it's surprising that WZC was completely intact when it was submerged in the deepest levels of the ocean while having a hole on it's chest, Most MS will easily explode at that depth.

my fav gundam !i oso think tat gundam seed was developed from tis series,gundam X....freedom is similar to G falcon unit gundam double X & justice is similar to GW-9800-B gundam air master burst :D my fav gundam once a again,i know wing ew ver is cooler than it but i prefer it more......
