  • @freyalovemiley Thank you for your comment***

  • @virol What a mealy mouthed old meany you are. She plays extraordinarily well for anyone, and the concentration on her little face is something to see....

  • ほんとうにかっこうが鳴いてるみたい。

  • @suhuitoburaito ありがとうございます☆

  • very accurate, i don't think i heard more than 1 mistake but it needs to be much faster, the concept of the song is speed.

  • @godofdaredevils Thank you for your comment.

  • jeeeeez!!!! how old is this girl? she is rly rly good. im just learning this song. look on my channel (i am NOT 40 if it says i am)

  • am facut si eu melodia asta la pian si era superba:x

  • wow.. 8 years old. thats really impressive.. im 17 and doing it for my grade 7.. i think ive just been shown whos boss :P

  • Very good indeed. An 8-year-old child doesn't yet have the life experience to begin thinking about the adult concept of interpretation in all of its nuances. Crikey! I was more than double her age before I began thinking seriously about such things! Well done, young lady. Come to New Zealand some day and enter the prestigious Kerikeri piano competition. My feeling is you'll be a force to be reckoned with.

  • @peteacher52 Thank you!!!

Is your country New Zealand? I like your country***

    Thank you***

  • @virol Yes - Kerikeri is in the Bay of Islands in Northland. There is a fine Steinway concert grand piano in the performing arts centre, and the piano competition attracts entrants from all over the world.

  • @peteacher52 My gosh, you're from New Zealand too? :D I was born in New Zealand but I got a job in America so I went there :P So what part of New Zealand do you live in? Christchurch? Wellington?

  • @godofdaredevils Kerikeri :)

  • @peteacher52 Cool :D

  • she has a lot of potential.

    keep up the good work!

  • @pianomaster11385 Thank you***

  • how long is the piece? is it 4 pages?

  • @ImaJvlapler Thank you. Yes, that piece is about 4 pages.

  • @ImaJvlapler in my conservatory book it's only one page with 3 repeats.

  • brilliant! This is a piece from the Grade 9 Royal Conservatory! Bravo!

  • @Underworldsiren Thank you!

  • I used to play this piece faster, but this tempo sounds very good!

  • @paopaomanalansan Thank you. But it's slowly.

  • i absolutely love this song, and she plays it like a pro!

  • @free2bsicilian Thank you**

  • woah she's better than me....

  • than me too, my friend, than me too...

  • Bahahahahah

    it's so true.

  • HEy americans, stop fucking around!

  • @zantoine Thank you***

  • This is beautiful! Very good. Congratulations!

  • thank you!

  • i kind of like it this slow. maybe not so much toward the end but i enjoy the beginning more with the slow tempo and i think the middle sounds better played faster.

  • damn..i just started this piece today..i did better practicing the right hand than the left..& left hand is easier than right..sad i know

  • I played this song on organ. There it sounds also very nice.

  • WOW! I'm learning this piece now!!

And I'm only 12 years old! ERRR! But I'm getting there! Sord of......OMG!!

I have to play this at my compition in November!! OMG!! :P

  • wow very good...i definately couldn't play this at her age...its a bit slow but then again i couldn't play this until i was 13

  • ooh, level 4. I'm learning this piece, just finnished practicing it lol, my fingers are sore from the pace that my teacher set it at to. Good job, nicely played

  • Excelente...maravilha. 5 stars.

  • Nice job and nice dress! Excellent performance!

  • she did pretty good.

i think shes not mature enough to be playing this kind of distinct and very technical piece of music. i give her much respect to be tackling a piece like that because it is very technical. but yet it is much too slow and it doesnt have the musicality others have when they play this piece.

but overall amazing job for HER age.

  • A bit slow for my taste, but pretty good, didn't miss a single note!

  • Okay...so i can't do this...i'm trying to learn it...and i've got to be twice her age...

    i feel really dumb.

  • Holy crap, shes better than me, im level 9 piano. I just had my piano recital today and I really sucked compared to her. D=

  • I have no idea what grade i am, this refererring to al those people talking about levels, when i hear good music, i wont leave the piano until i can play the music i like, i don't care if it's a Evgeny Kissin-level melody, i still will be able to play it, no matter how long it'll take me to learn it...

    Ontop Lol:

i know one thing for sure, that girl is imba versus me.

  • a little slow for my taste, but i guess that is what makes it sound really good.

  • It's a Grade 4 piece stated in the Green Book of Piano Pieces for Children. I'm using the book too.

  • Level 4

  • its for grade 9 RCM. Good job there =]

  • in the green book, its level 5 i think

  • i love this song it's from the everybody's......green music book

  • you mean the piano pieces for children green book which is everybody's Favorite series No.3?

  • For anyone familiar with the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board), do you know what equivalent Grade this piece is, by their standards?

I just started this piece, I'm guessing it's around Grade 6 or 7...anyone know for sure?

  • It's a grade 6 level piece.

  • I was 15 when I played it the first time. She is good, but it is so...mhm... I think there is no passion or feelings when she plays it. But her technic is really good. [I know my English ^^]

  • @EgoMihi well that might be because she is mainly pressured to be playing the piano

  • Oooooh!

    im playing it too!

    im 10

  • i have this piece for grade 9

  • I play this, its hard to play really fast.

  • i play this on the flute!

  • cool! bet it sounds good. this piece i think fits the flute. kinda.

    sight read the right hand part on violin cuz it was just fun to play......though not at age 8, of course. lolz. learning the piano vs. now. ^^;

  • that piece is for grade 4...i'm learning that piece.she plays very well

  • abrsm or rcm school?

  • Love this classic. Normally this is played a little bit faster, but she's amazing :)

  • people focus too much on grade of pieces just learn what ever pieces u like best without being to focused on difficulty, its more about the individual performance than the song itself, u could have a video of someone playing this to a grade 8 level for example or maybe someone else playing it a grade4 lvl, anyways this is a great rendition congratz

  • I am 10 years old and am playing that song. I know the trills are quite tricky, but anyway, she did an exellent performance. Brava!

  • Just listen to the performance. Grade this grade that... for fuck's sake

  • wow so nice

  • Actually, This song isnt that hard to play. I know cause im learning this song. But, for a 8 year old, Wow! Im in Grade 9 piano and im 12.

  • there are only 8 grades.......

  • where are you from?? cause in canada, theres 10 grades.... but ummm if ur somewhere else... then like.. yea

  • Thanks for sharing that with us.

  • actually, there are 12. Depends on what kind of musical testing you are doing.

  • she is AMAZING! BRAVO!

  • lol

  • I would realy like to see someone play this on a harpsichord since Daquin wrote this piece for the harpsichord

  • If anyone knows, what grade (difficulty out of 10) is this song? Thanks.

  • this is a song from the gr.9 repertoire, but its not that difficult to learn...in my opinion its difficulty is probably a 7

  • ce n'est pas si difficile que ça disons 4 sur 10 (on peut apprendre cette piece apres trois ans de piano )

    PhR

  • yeah the sheet music is rather easy to read but to play is quite different because the fingering is a little odd.

  • i would say about grade 3 or 4, i don't have piano lessons - i tought myself and this piece i sight read for the first time and managed to get it, so its not that hard!! 6/10??

  • clerly ;!! very good bRAVO

  • Very good¡

  • piece

  • i'm learning this peice right now, it's so beautiful I love it, and i'm 15! and she's so young ...

  • me too

    im 16

  • She has an awesome feeling while playing... And that's all that matters...

  • oh its pretty cool she can play this at such a young age. but the speed is waayy too slow

  • awesome, but i think the dynamics still need a bit work

  • I've been taking piano for a couple months now and I've been given this piece to learn... damn, I'm 16 and this girl's 8 and she's playing it really well. I guess this will encourage me to learn it faster, haha.

  • By any chance, could you send me the sheetmusic for this please? I'm 16 as well, have been playing since 10, and i would appreciate it greatly!

  • Sorry, my teacher has the sheets, I don't have them on hand. If I can get them I'll tell you though.

  • Magnifique!

  • Goregous, absolutley great. She has so much talent.

  • i can only play the first 3 lines very slow

  • this is incredible, a genuis at work.

  • An eight year old is playing the same music as me. Excuse me while I cut off my useless hands.

  • Comment removed
