Cool story, but you forget to take into account the proofs we have for evolution. The fact that may be sad for you to realize is that as we as humans evolve, the need for a god becomes less and less because we no longer need his existence to take the place of what we don't understand in the universe due to our progress in the realms of science. We don't need god for morality, and we don't need god for an explanation because there is no hard proof that he exists.

Isnt it energy that cant be created or lost, it can only transfer from one source to another? But it is an interesting concept, when time and space began, how or when was energy and/or matter created. Still doesnt prove the existance of god tho, the chances of the big bang creating existance is higher than an almighty being who is outside of space and time.

Let's proof your first point wrong. If you say you will give me a chocolate bar in 5 days one could say, today is the nth day since the creation of the universe and you will give me the bar at the (n+5)th day. So no matter what n is, I wait 5 days and get my bar. Now let's assume the universe was never created. This would make n be infinity. So you would promise to give me the bar after an infinite amount of time, but i would still get it.

@img0ingin we dont need to know how old the star is if we know how far away it is whe can assume it is at least as old as the amount of time the light takes to travel to earth i think you may need to look up somthing called red and blue shift its the doplar effect on light that causes things to have ether a red color if its moving away from us or blue if its moving twards us using that law of light is how we know how old the universe is

Ok, your argument is invalid. Just because there is something that could be explained by the existence of god, that doesn't mean it is the only explanation.
Furthermore, the explanation of god being responsible for the beginning of everything doesn't prove anything regarding the words of the bible, or any other religious book for that matter. So even though you've 'proven' that there is a god who started space and time, you haven't proven that he is the same deity you revere.

The big hole in your story: 6,000 or billions of years ago (whichever you believe), wasn't when time STARTED, it was when the UNIVERSE did. We didn't start measuring time until whichever point you believe, but time itself existed long before that.

But is there proof that matter, time and space has ever started at any point? What if everything has always been here, slowly evolving. It may be tough to wrap your mind around, but maybe it's something our little brains can't handle.
Shawn also said how he can't give me a chocolate bar after an infinite amount of time. That's true but it doesn't mean that everything is actually going to end like the bible says.

Well, science and religion both agree on the fact that this Universe had to start somewhere. What they disagree on is the nature of the 'First Cause'; i.e. was it intelligent or nonintelligent. Given that we can explain the Universe following the Big Bang through entirely natural processes, my bet is on unintelligent.
