  • i know my friends n i could make it to the moon we r usually as high as a satelite but i cant figure out how to get registered lol

  • I am really excited on future announcements by Google.

  • coape-what?

  • Great news ! Humans back to the Moon before 2025 !!

  • The guy with the cross, thanking Jesus for funding, makes me want to kick a puppy. That a rocket scientist can display such poor critical thinking skills in this one area of his life shows how compartmentalized a theist's brain is.

  • "Tough nuts." That' a great expression. If I were a cometitor in this contest, I would name my team "tough nuts."

  • Dear Arca team leader,

The guy you were talking about was a saxon in the Hungarian Kingdom. Read a history book, mate.

  • Coopertition?

  • This is the coolest contest!!!!!, it is very interesting to see private bussines like google and the contenders make such an effor!

  • google is the greatest big business ever! you guys will probably never see this message, but you guys are my heros.you do so much for the world, using your site to adveritise relief funds and helping inspire science advancement. thank you for helping the world!!

  • i just wanted to say one more thing. google you should research nikola teslas energy ideas, such as his magnifying transmitter, it could help out the whole world with a wireless energy system using the world as a conducting body! he did it 100 yrs ago but it was not funded properly :(.

  • id like to thank the lord jesus christ

  • sooo true

oh dear, asking him, to hold up a book about rocket science and praise Robert Goddard or someone the likes next time, would be considert too cruel?

    right...

  • You didnt!!

  • The main reason inspiring google's move into the "Xprize" project is assumed to be privitizeing the space industry. There's fuel for fusion technology on the surface of the moon in trace amounts, but the pay off would be INCREDIBLE! We, the people, must have some level of control over space!

  • how can you get a 60min video on youtube

    google must have specal rights

  • google owns youtube dude!

  • LET ME BUY YOUTUBE! ehm sorry for outburst.

  • google is taking away ALL our privacy.. everything we type on google com They see what you search/where you from/adress. Its like a Giant keylogger..everything. It should stay a search site nothing more.

  • Its just a site where you can search, And a little Atlas, and translator... rest = useless;

  • Ok i'm going into aerospace engineering, i didn't want to because i thought i would have to work for some war profiteering company...i've been on the fence about which engineering to go into

  • sex kills, come to cmu live forever ;0

  • lol 0nly 30 millions. that's too cheap..

  • lol 0nly 30 millions. that's too cheap..

  • Rovetta 4 president!

  • Great Prize ! Thanks Google !

Web-Astronauts : try out the Space cO-Op Search Engine, a google custom search engine boosted for space exploration queries wich allow you to refine your search results by topics !

  • Nerds gotta get laid too. I think she is overdue.

  • I swear I've seen that chick Megan Smith in an amateur porno

  • 0.o

    ...

    you guys RULE!

  • theres no one on the moon ,why o ther ?

    its aint fun..

  • Thanks google!

  • one of the smartest thing that any other being on the earth surface could make. human race is the only one who could survive their own f+cking enviromental disaster.

the f* shit is that we are here to stay.

    cheers for human race.

  • We will be reading "Google" on the spaceships instead of NASA!

I can't wait for that day.

  • lol

  • NOO

  • holy crap. an hour.

  • This is a major milestone in our generation. Goodluck to all the teams competing!!! Looking forward to the winner probably our children will be the beneficiary of this effort. Google is the universal search engine! Keep up the good work ;-)

  • niceeeee..

  • Lesson of the day, bring your notes.

  • How is this possible anyway...

  • Science and Engineering.

  • OMG nearly an hours worth of video...pretty tedious

  • oh man. I akways can't watch a video more than 15 minutes :(

  • I am so excited! I might actually get to see the moon colonized in my life-time and perhaps even mars!

  • moon 2.0

  • now all we need to do is actually get a person on the moon for the first time :p

  • Erm, so I'm 14:30 into it, thanks jesus for those funds... sigh, proselytizing much, very bad taste...

  • Many of the solutions to Earth's problems will be found in the exploration and development of space.

  • No way! Earth problems:

    1) Energy - Solution: Solar Panels + Batteries

    2) Transportation - Solution: Electric Vehicles

    3) Food - Solution: grown in doors with computers controlling water and light

    You were saying...

  • Your a wacky boy you...

    *pats on head*

    Run along now...

  • As Apple's Steve Jobs once said "You always had to think a little different to buy an Apple." One day studio7manga you will see one day...

  • I don't want to buy an apple (overpriced piece of shit), guess I don't need to worry...

BTW, "think different" ≠ "act crazy"

  • Wake your ass

  • Wake your ass

  • SEE MY VISE!!!!

  • All solar panel work and indeed all current electronics owe their very existance to the space program. So yes, most of the problems on earth (mostly energy)can be solved in space!
