  • is it gm 350 5.7l v8?

  • if you cant afford the valve organizer tray heres a couple of what some might call redneck solutions but hey they work

    for the lifters you can use an ice cube tray just be sure to label them in some method

    pushrods and valves you can use smell rectangular type boxes just punch a hole for each item but do it in rows and be sure to label where they came from on the engine

    sure its not a fancy method but its cheap it works and it even counts for reusing for the box =D

  • A real good start would be to through all that shit in the bin

  • Actually the point made in the video is valid: to reassemble used valve train components, all parts must be mated with the parts they touched during break-in and the wear cycle.

  • Thanks for responding to that one 'chuanist'. I didn't have the heart ;}

    If you didn't realize by now, this is a test video for quality done a long time ago. More scenes from this DVD and others can be found on our 'BoxWrench' channel. All our new stuff is in full HD as well.

    Please watch and leave comments on those videos.

    Enjoy!

  • valve-train, rather

  • This isnt exactly a "test"

    more of a teardown and explaination of the drive-train

  • Well actually 'Chauvinisticzero' it was a test for video quality. I'll send you a message and explain :}

    Hope you enjoyed though!
