  • Hi my name is Katie. I was diagnosed with depression at 12 and was passed from pillar to post as noone seemed to know what to do with me. I was then diagnosed as bipolar at 18. I am now 22 with a beautiful 9 month old baby girl. I am finaly on medication that works for me and am starting to get my life back on track. Keep working hard VIK, the work you are doing is sooo important. Just try to remember there is light at the end of the tunnel, even if you cant see it now, i know i never could. If

  • im 16 and i first saw a consular just over a year ago and in the past year and a bit i have seen 4 different consulars its at a point where i feel like im been past around like a piece of luggage I've give up on counseling i go simply because im to scared to say anything about it. for me i strugle to talk but istead of finding other ways to get me to talk i just get presured more and more to talk and that just makes me even more scared to talk :(

  • This is great! I'm sorry i couldn't come, i am on the VIK panel but i haven't been able to come to meetings as i've had a serious knock back in my depression and anxiety.
