  • i have yet to see a debate where silerman was less convincing than his opponent.

  • every time the subjet of the soltice pagen celebration comes up, the sheep either, just down right lie and deny the point, or they go very quite with embarressment. why cant they just acknowledge it. or could it be they might just lose some of there flock and the cash flow that comes from that source. shameless bunch.

  • If we stick to logic and reason in our discussions, lower the emotional rhetoric, while we may not bring the religious out of the denial fog they're in, we can educate others who read our posts but don't participate in the discussion, like you all have done here.

    I don't care about converting a religious nut, I care about the rational minded who view our posts and finally say, "hmmm, that does make sense" and moves forward toward less magical thinking.

  • good job to him indeed but it's frustrating to see how common sense is just getting us atheists nowhere when it comes to making a blunt down to earth no-going-around-it point...

  • Yea, kudos to Solstice. I'll take that celebration over xmas or even Yule.  Shortest day of the year, a good reason to throw a party!
