this is the royal artillery training, the royal marines were in charge of where they dropped of the RA on the beach and chose this spot on purpose just for a laugh and to take the piss. my course sergeant explained this to us when he showed us the video just for a laugh at the end of a lesson. apparently the marines like pulling pranks on us!

Why does this video keep getting posted, its gone from being U.S Troops to British Troops, its been special forces and Marines, Army and RAF regiment.

Its a British unit doing a beach landing training, the NCO's are probably having a laugh and dropped them there on purpose.

ill set the record straight. it was 38 bty i can name most of them but i wont to save there emarasment. it waqs a practice for an op that was planned for later in the week. the boat drivers set it up as a joke. it was on the river just outside basra. the reason we had the boats is to do anti smuggling ops on the river. trust me its the truth
