oh my god...i have to comment again...you motherfuckers are inspirational....god damn...i'd give up a lot to see you live...wow....these people are getting an amazing show...and that's their reaction? fuck them
holy fuck...i wish i knew people like the guys who rocked this song in person...god damn....fuck those assholes with their snobby looks...holy shit you guys are awesome
@marinlabyrinth I think the intent was to have something completely unique. I've seen this a number of times on the internet, and I'm always amazed by it.
At first I thought these guys were just a bunch of clowns out to annoy their fellow commuters ride and try to make some chump change. But after listening to them you know they are the real deal.
Outstanding. Sup with ol boy with his back to them the whole time though??? I would think it'd be pretty hard to not turn around and see something so amazing like that, especially considering it's probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. Is he racist? I mean bogus if so. Unbelievable talent guys!
I know. I was wondering what was up with the John Travolta look-alike too. Old sour face. These guys are awesome. Absolutely love them. If you haven't seen their real vid of this song, check it out. Amazing.
you can call it bold, or better, stupid country! :)but from what i've seen and heard from japanese subways, i'm glad to live in switzerland. must be horrible to drive in the overcrowded trains in japan..
in zurich (switzerland) there was a sign in city trains with a pictogram which meant "mexicans with guitar forbidden" or something, they had to remove it caus it was seen as xenophobia, haha!
I've often contemplated guerrilla performance as a strategy. You drop in on ropes, bellaclavas over your faces, "Everybody get down," you say, "Don't nobody move and nobody gets hurt," you say, "We're gonna play a few TUNES for ya and then you can all go about your business ..."
I would be delighted by acapella (mixed with beatbox - whatever) shows in the subway really.. most people clearly enjoyed it also, just that one lame ass character that kept standing with his back turned towards them..
Yeah... yeah.. yeah... What a crock of self-congratulatory sh1te. Bottom line... it's still public transport and it's other people's space as well. Exactly how different is this to some other urban fool playing their iPod or music through their mobile too loud? It might be technically proficient, but how uncomfortable do the people around these guys look? The next venue? A packed elevator? Dull. Next please.
Im going to have to dissagree with you on your comment...because all the people around them are focused on their lives and dont stop too see the that their life is more than money or watever is on their mind.
you must not have been watching this at all..the people around these guys are in rapture with them...except for one guy. A lady even joined in with them. Everyone applauded... people were clapping. It seems like you are just jealous of their natural talent. A capella singing is VERY difficult and add a moving train to it...amazing. I think you might need to open up a little and try to let something in that is new and different to you.
excellent point: a wireless ipod in another train playing this performance in real-time, in hi-fi, is not as 'excusable' as this here-now performance.
If music is only SOUNDS, why wouldn't people applaud an iPod? yet its ridiculous. The live excellence is vastly accepted over any digitally mediated experience. This video of the performance is also more infectious than a straight mp3. Why?
And why, then, are people obsessed with digital media in lieu of patently superior live experiences?
really cool , luv it

Have you ever had a subway group applaud at the end of some kid listening to an Ipod?
