@GFORCEpackattack It's a loud clock! :) When it comes to revolvers I'm not very knowlegeable, actually I've never fired that one :) Took it in a trade and it has sat for the past 20+ years :)
this is what youtube was made for knowledgeable people showing off guns not 13 years old dudes talking about nothing in a squeaky high pitch voice I CAN HEAR YOUR CLOCK
I bet that revolver performs like a machine gun in your shaky ass hands. Just joking my vibrating friend. Im getting the quivers too in my old age and that’s why I feel I’m allowed to poke at ya a little. Im like you. I carry a 1911 Kimber Tactical custom II 45. BUT I have fallen in love with my mod 19. It goes with me everywhere now and the Kimber stays home a lot.
@GeorgeBonez Yeah but I've been doing it since I was about 17 :) Pain in the ass sometimes. I don't do well with any pistol but revolvers are the worst because of the gradual trigger pull in double action, bad guys never know exactly where I'm aiming, lol. :)
@MyHollowpoint Yeah you have a point about the double action aspect and I share your frustrations but I do ok with the mod 19. It still feels like work to me to to fire in DA but I am getting better. In single action I am now shooting better with the 19 than I am with the 1911 and at much greater distances but I think that has more to do with it being a 357 than the gun type. My 19 has a 2 ½ in barrel with nice fat Crimpson laser grips. I love that classy detective feel & looks good n chuch LOL
@MyHollowpoint Btw I just re-read my own comment and didn’t like the way it sounded. I didn’t mean anything by the “shaky hand comment” ok. It was a bad attempt at humor and it really came off as disrespectful and I apologize. Having said that, Your 19 is a hell of a lot nicer than mine. If it was a snub I would hound the crap out of you to try to get you to sell it to me lol. If I watch the vid 1 more time I might do it anyway. Thats a damn good looking weapon Sir. I love that nickel finish.
@GeorgeBonez No harm done or perceived. It's a well known fact around my locale and not a day goes by a joke isn't pointed in my direction. Water off a ducks back :)
the model 19 is a great classic revolver, and fortunately is not as expensive as a colt python! BTW, that heat treatment you're talking about is called case hardening.
Sir you made an awesome trade that is one very gorgeous gun. I had a snub nose Smith & Wesson 357 mag and sold it like a fool I wish I never did now I will have to buy another some day when my money situation gets better
@77killerbrian I've only sold one gun, given several hunting rifles away to folks who didn't have one, but this one will probably just gather dust :) Thanks for watching. :)
@Peidmonte89 Thanks Tom, I appreciate your good judgement, I think S&W made a better pistol then than it does now, just my opinion. Thanks for looking.:)
@MyHollowpoint I agree, sadly with the way the economy is gun companies are struggling to find ways to budget. This is also shown in my Charter Arms (which btw is real bad off now). S&W did jobs to their triggers, they also arent using the same steel for all parts of the gun. And I hate to say it but they screwed ip the Walther PPK. That said I would choose a Smith over say a Taurus or Charter any day, but my budget just wont allow it. Keep up the great vids man!
@fire1777 I won it back in the late 70's or early 80's, not exactly sure the exact year. It was nice too, but I never fired it either. Very well made guns though, both of them. Thanks for watching.
Another awesome video my friend. When you said you had a revolver video up I rushed over. The 19 has a special place in my heart. I have three now.IMO no finer revolver made and I've had them all one time or another. Thanks my friend!
@Mr45Bullitt Glad you enjoyed it Bill. I couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a bass fiddle, lol. I gotta be real quick on the trigger:) It is a very nice pistol, thanks for watching.
be careful there. if you have a loaded gun and drop it, it would go off on you.

Very nice model 19 sir. I have a model 66 no dash that I love to shoot. The DA trigger pull is very smooth and the SA is crisp and light.

@puffulufogous You're right! The trigger in single action is very light! :)

Thanks for sharing. That's a sweet revolver. The finish looks great too. The wax/polish did a good job. I'm gonna have to try that out.
