  • For years I though "Waltzing Bugle Boy" was written by my trumpet teacher in Durban, South Africa, Charles Inglis, as a competition piece for all the High School marching bands, when in truth he had simply made an arrangement of it... I still have the notebook in which he wrote it out in his own hand.

  • Fue esta version y no otra la que disfrute en los 60s, por radio 100 FM, la primera emisora que transmitia en FM en Lima. Pasaron mas de 15 años para volverla a escuchar y grabarla en cassette, Que lastima la musica que se escucha en estos desagradables tiempos. Gracias a originalDimer por subirla, aunque Bugle Boy no ensambla, es otro tipo de musica.

  • Harpist Robert Maxwell wrote & recorded Ebb Tide in 1953, but it was Mr. Chacksfield's orchestra that made the song an international hit. More than a decade later Bobby Hatfield recorded the hit vocal version - under the Righteous Brothers name - in 1965.
