@TheAlennuri No this is not, as you can see the focussing of this lens goes way further than the Standard kit lens you mentioned. This is an 1.8g 50mm

Nice............I own this camera, and do some movie production stuff, and would like to expand some.........tell me, does the 50mm make alot of difference to you, esp if shooting short movies and such? why not buy the better lens, the f1.4?
