Yes, I didn't think it's possible, but after this summer Nobu's popularity in Japan is at an all-time high. His original compositions have been really well received in his own country. It almost makes me feel bad that he has to leave Japan for his overseas tour in October -- but, hey, Carnegie Hall beckons!

  • love both drama and music!!!

I am a big fan of Tsujii-san.

  • Nobuyuki has perfect pitch! I like these melodies - they are semi-classical in flavour.

  • @concerto35 For a better demonstration of Nobu's perfect pitch, check out the YouTube.video "Nobuyuki Tsujii does Hawaiian." My favorite of Nobu's composition is "What the wind carries", also on YouTube. On his original composition CD, there is also a piece called "Homage to Chopin" and another called "the winds of Venice", both are quite good. Nobu is a master in depicting the sound of nature: the winds, flowing water, and chirping birds, etc.
