After the majority of this season already being aired now and a few episodes left I can officially say WEEDS has fallen off. I loved the first 3 seasons so much and then it started to go down hill. This season is gonna really be good or it's really gonna suck like last season. So far, I'm not too impressed with how the season is going. For a minute, it looked like it was gonna start picking up, but the show is getting too much humor and phoney. I liked season 1-3, a little bit of 4, but once season 5 began, it got dumb. Plus celia being gone, is going to be strange. They left off, with a story plot for her, and now it's just confusing.
the first 3 seasons were great. moving to San Diego didn't make sense, but it was O.K. now, in currently 3 eps into 6. Someone should put this show out of it's misery, it has not direction, it is awful.

Take ep 5: Silas and Shane talking in the diner - an overflow of punchlines, one after the other - reminded me a little of George Clooney and Julia Roberts in Oceans 11: Clooney: "I`ve paid my debts to society." Roberts: "Funny, I never got a cheque." And the actors do their charachters so well by now. I can hardly wait for tomorrow and ep 6.:)

Just seen ep 4 of the season. Must say it looks promising - but would have been better if Elisabeth Perkins (Celia) still had been around. Her acting talent, and the unique charachter of Celia, provided some of the best sarcastic moments over the years. Now that has all been placed on Alexander Gould`s (Shane) shoulders. And he is great! But Nancy hasn`t got a proper verbal sparring partner anymore. And that is a shame - cause that used to be one of the essntials of the show.

@eric632 It's about a family that makes its living off growing/selling weed, and all the weird characters and circumstances they encounter. There are many twists and turns you wouldn't expect, and it's very raw in some respects (language, dialog). I didn't think I'd like it at tall, but after I watched a few episodes, the characters are what kept me interested.

nancy fucks over the whole family. If she really cared about her family should would be quiet or leave them. I mean she could have worked quietly at the tunnel shop for along time but no she fucks that over and now she is going to try to start selling again while they're on the run geez. That's the only thing i hate about this show, she doesn't mature as a character.

@FreshGalaxy I'm sure if I went to the "Breaking Bad Trailer" on YouTube and asked the same question EVERYONE would say Breaking Bad over Weeds. I just don't see how a story about a suburban woman selling weed is supposed to be interesting? I'm still gonna check it out from season 1 onwards and after I'm done the series I guess I'll decide 4 myself.

@ChannelHMC When she partnered up with Guillermo the show kinda plunged when they moved to Ren Mar it got boring Nancy was just a queen pin and not doing ish. When she hooked up with Esteban the show had a stroke but recovered Season 6 looks 300x's better it's actually is funny. Not oh im going to strike u with a golf club or shoot your balls off lol.

@eric632 It's about a family that makes its living off growing/selling weed, and all the weird characters and circumstances they encounter. There are many twists and turns you wouldn't expect, and it's very raw in some respects (language, dialog). I didn't think I'd like it at tall, but after I watched a few episodes, the characters are what kept me interested.
