hi, i have 9, 20 hour old platy fry, and have two questions, can i just feed them liquifry for a week or two, and how do i clean uneaten food from the floor without using my large syphon?
@hiupdown my palty is pregant, should i get like a 2 gallon tank for now to keep the mom in and then take her out when the babues are born? Should i keep it in the 10 gallon and transfer the fry when born?
what happens to your lucky bamboo after about a week or a month kept completely under water, does it gets damaged or something. i am also thinking to buy some lucky bamboo for my aquarium decoration.
i have 3 guppy fry nowit is 3 month old then then the moyher guppy give birth to another 6 fry should i put the 3 month old guppy back to the main tank
My platy just gave birth and I am thinking of setting up a tank just like yours for them, but was worries that water conditions in the new tank is not as good as my 4 ft planted tank, can i ask how do you prepare your tank before adding the baby platies inside?
Hello. I set up the tank with 1/3 bottled water, 1/3 tap, and 1/3 of the water from their previous tank. Every single last fry is still alive today and I have never once checked the water quality. I just change about 1/2 the water once a month and add about a gallon every two or three days or so. Platty are very easy to take care of. Hope this helps.

If your fry are in with the parents they are more likely to be eating but since you have a lot of plants they have a good chance of making it.
