emo are wannabes of goth.

definitions of gothic songs IMO :

- songs about true feelings, tragedy, love, hate, pain, death. Songs with powerful and touching lyrics like this one, Singers that take your breath away when they open their mouth.

People confuse them with emos just cuz they wear black.

definiton of emo songs IMO:

- songs about fake feelings: unhappy love, unlucky life, sometimes about sex (for no reason), dumping somebody etc.

this is simply my opinion.
