Born and raised here in Chico, I'm a little dissapointed that the partying has died down a bit but if Chico State wants a more sustainable green reputation, I say go for it. Friday and saturday nights downtown will always be epic.

Well said. It ranked I think 24th in some survey Forbes did this year on "Schools that produce the most successful people," success being measured in term sof income. The business, nursing, phych, and teaching majors they have here are excellent, but what you really develop is social skills, which is what really propels you to the top.
