  • @Quentin242451 sorry about the late reply. I know My mom was there when king and honky got into an actual Full out brawl during a match

  • it's amazing that htm talks as much shit as he does when the only reason he got as far as he did in the business comes of cousin jerry lawler. so please if anybody here actaully knows him tell him to go back to kissing lawler's ass

  • @bigkon420 Lawler and HTM have never been that close. They practically hate each other.

  • They 'shoot' on the Hart foundation?? All I hear is a couple of comments about Goldberg... Greg trained in "The dungeon", under Stu Hart... I'm sure Greg would never badmouth the Harts...

  • The late Bad News Brown said in the only shoot interview that he did before he died that Bret Hart gave him 3 concussions when they wrestled in Stampede Wrestling together. He said he almost kicked Bret Hart's ass over one of the concussions he gave to him.

  • @curtismarshall81 Fair enough, you made your point and I made mine but unlike you I don't lose my cool and come off as looking childish. You're only calling me a moron because you have nothing to come back with. Anyway, discussion. I'm not saying anyone has won or lost the argument but you haven't done yourself any favours. I'm not going to assume you're a moron, just ignorant!

  • @curtismarshall81 "If" Owen killed himself it was because he was sh!t scared and didn't want to be up there in the first place. His brother Bret more or less said the same thing in an interview. Whether he did it to himself is open to debate and not fact! I suggest you calm yourself down mate because if you can't have a simple conversation on the subject without getting carried away then what's the point. I'm not that smart? That's your opinion mate but you aint that grown up and that's a fact!

  • @Jarvisdoctor Oh and second of all Bret did not only damage his ribs he also broke his sternum. The sternum is very strong and requires great force to fracture it but the danger is still potentially there. The fracture itself may not itself be lethal but a broken piece of bone can still reach the heart and lead to death if it penetrates it. So don't make out as if it isn't potentially dangerous. Perhaps you're not that smart yourself because if you were you would have done a bit more research.

  • @curtismarshall81 I get what it means. You're also not supposed to injure yourself which Bret did when he broke his chest while wrestling Dino Bravo. Plus Owen injured Austin because he was performing a Tombstone on him and the man was three inches taller than him. No doubt this was pre-planned. Accidents happen in the ring, it doesn't matter how good you are. Owen was faster and more accomplished in the ring.

  • Bret was good but possibly a bit overrated. He wasn't as quick as his brother Owen who arguably was a better technical wrestler. One of the very best going today has to be Kurt Angle who I would have loved to see square off against Bret. But that said my favourite overall wrestler will always be Mark Callaway aka. The Undertaker.

  • @Jarvisdoctor

OH please, Callaway was nothing before Vince made him into the Halloween version of Lurch, with Percy Pringle as Gomez, as well as bringing out the whole Adams Family.

  • @postalmeter Callaway came from nowhere while Bret while talented had the good fortune to be born in to what is now a Wrestling Dynasty. It helps if your Dad is a professional Wrestler. Besides Wrestling Callaway played Basketball in High School and is an avid boxing fan. For a man his height he is very agile and the reason he became who he is today is that Vince saw the potential he had to become the star he is today. Then there's his WM 19-0 record. An accolade that even Bret has not earned.

  • @Jarvisdoctor

Bullshit, Vince came up with the Undertaker routine, before that Callaway was NOTHING for all the years he was a pro wrestler. If Vince can create a star from a piece of shit like Shawn Michaels, he had no problem with Callaway.

Yeah no duh he played basketball in high school, at 6'10" or whatever it would be hard to avoid; but apparently he wasn't good enough to get into college on it. Agility is easy when it's choreographed and cooperative. Oh, he jumped a 3' rope, whoopy.

  • @postalmeterVince may have invented the Undertaker personae but he did not develop Callway's talent as a wrestler and It's something that he took to like a duck to water. It's as if he was born to be the Dead Man. I hardly think Shawn Michaels is a piece of shit regarding his talents as a pro-wrestler. What he may be like as a person is one thing but he's far from untalented. You say he wasn't good enough to get in to college but whose to say he gave it a wide berth to begin another career.

  • @postalmeter And as for his agility it's not that easily choreographed. Especially when your 6ft8(His real height) and weigh in at over 300lb. And to be fair he's still wrestling now that he is pushing 50. He's been wrestling with men considerably younger than himself ie. Jack Swagger who is about 20 years Callway's junior. Bret was 42 or 43.

  • 300 is NOT his real weight, Mark is NOT Shaq, he's at least 50 lbs shy.

As for wrestling guys a lot younger, so what? It's the jobber who does most of the work, and UT's 18:0 record was because of that fact; no promoter would ever let Taker job to anyone. A good jobber can make anyone look nimble, look at Hogan the bumbling stooge against all the guys who jobbed to him.

  • @postalmeter For a man who is still his age, size and height Callaway is still surprisingly nimble and quick. Hogan wasn't as fast as Callaway is now at near enough the same age. Watch Hogan's match against him at "Judgement Day and watch the Dead Man now. Also, you don't think there were wrestlers who would have jobbed to Bret Hart as well? I think Owen who was quite arguably the better wrestler did so during the matches that came after "Wrestlemania X" when Bret defeated his brother.

  • are they bum chums

  • It really is amazing to me how good the Honkey Tonk Man thinks he was. He is nowhere near the class of any of these guys in the ring and I think these constant shoot interviews you see him doing are just so he can try to be relevant, even if it's in his own head

  • I first started watching wrestling in the late '80s and I didn't know squat about what goes on behind the scenes but I could see that the wrestlers had varying degrees of stiffness and I could tell right away that HTM was "soft", he didn't look very convincing when he hit people...I think it's a good thing...he makes a good point, better someone be too soft than kick you in the f***ing head and break your neck...

  • HTM is hilarious.

  • What the fuck is this about? HTM must be one two faced son of a bitch. if you watch wrestling with shadows(Bret Hart's Documentary)towards the end when the hart foundation are in the limo you see HTM right beside anvil conversing with everyone and acting like he gives a fuck about bret and his problems. what a fucking two faced hypocrite

  • @TeamBOTL HTM used to be with the Hart Foundation. He's just talking about old times.

  • Wayne Farris = dick

  • You=correct

  • Fuck a honkey tonk man then

  • There's no way tom billington backed down from iron sheik or bad news cant remember the name of the wrestler but he asked tom billington to be his bodyguard fact.

HTM is a piece of shit and he's not the greatest IC champ I think bret, rude, owen, perfect were the greatest oh and steamboat and of course savage

  • macho man wasked him to be his bodyguard

  • that's him macho man cheers bud

  • Randy Savage asked him to watch his back when he went to bars.

Some have said Dynamite was brutal, and of course legiteamatly tough.

    (yes I spell poorely)

  • @TheAngelfire1

The Rock, Razor and HBK were the top 3 IC champs of all time. Fuck Honky Tonk! He's a bum, a foot note in wrestling history.

  • @Kingjd87 Randy Savage and Magnificent Muraco were better than any of those three when talking about IC champions...Greg Valentine too.

  • @ishawnm

Randy Savage I'll give you that. But Greg Valentine was a better IC Champ than HBK and Razor and The Rock??? NO WAY DUDE!

  • @Kingjd87 You must not have watched Valentine in his prime. He could always get serious heat with the fans and had the best match on the card a lot of nights. If you're talking about his matches vs. Razor and The Rock when they were Intercontinental champions then yes, he was better. The Rock became much better later on when he moved to World Champion status but not during his IC title days

  • HonkyTonk Man, you are a whiny little sore-loser [not even a has-been but a never-was] punk-ass bitch, and need a good shitkicking, which I'm sure, despite his condition now, concussion syndrome, stroke history and all, I'm certain that Bret Hart could put you down with faster than you can say "shake rattle and roll" you big-mouth moron. Valentine, I got more respect for, but he, too, comes across as a little bitter.

  • HTM needs to quit complaining. At least Iron Sheik shows respect for the Hart Foundation.

  • HTM and Valentine come across as assholes in this, way out of order on that comment about Bret Hart getting kicked by Goldberg, a move that resulted in Bret's early retirement and subsequent stroke in 2002...Honky's an insensitive bitch

  • RSXemperor..Dynamite was no doubt the greatest pound for pound worker of all time...But to believe everything he says in his book is not wise...He is a bitter man, left to rot because of how he treated everyone in the buisness...I have no doubt Dyno bitch slapped honkey and indeed made him cry...but the whole rougeau thing shows dyno was a sucker puncher when he knew the guy was not itimidated by him...both bad news and iron shiek asked him to fight and he backed down..honkey was an easy target.

  • Actually, Bret Hart, Iron Sheik, Jim Neidhart and a few other guys were in the room when Dynamite slapped the piss out of Honky. I'm not commenting on whether he was great (he was) or whether he was bitter (which he is). I'm just saying Honky is a cheap shot artist who always talked shit and couldn't back it up when he was cornered by someone (like Randy Savage who confronted HTM and the only thing that saved him was Vince)

  • Considering the fact Honky talked a load of shit about Harley Race behind his back which led to him getting slapped by Dynamite Kid and crying like a bitch, I laugh at this shoot.

  • i would love to meet HTM cuz id kick HIM in the fuckin head. So broke hes bitchin all over the net about wrestlers who vince actually kepat around unlike his useless ass. Every match hes been in never lasted more than 5 mins cuz he stuck the fuckin place up. Any time any place HTM.

  • thank you for telling it like it is. Honky seems like an ole lazy bitter beer swilling broke ass couch potato.

  • Honky tonk was an awful wrestler and hes clearly a fucking prick. Theres a difference between wanting wrestling to look real and getting hurt. Goldberg injured bret by accident however honky injuring anyone would have been hard to believe as his stuff was just so fake. Hes a joke end of.

  • Bret was the best in the game.If you seen one Hogan match you seen them all.Honky is just saying Goldberg was piece of shit and Bret was wrong to say he was to soft.Take a pill guys Hogan suck

  • Owen was so smooth and flawless in the ring, he worked mid-card to make the wrestlers that couldn't work look better-like Benoit/Eddie G./Malenko did in WCW. All 4 men were head and shoulders above Bret in ability.

  • I don't know why you're getting the thumbs down because you're right. Owen was a good wrestler and a nice guy but he didn't put asses on seats.

  • because when people die, they become gods to these morons. when people die, these morons place these figures on high pedestals. these morons forget about the truth.

  • owen was main event status when his brother was champ and owen had a few title challenges

  • really? wow! a few title challenges? so did the big boss man numbnuts.

  • Owen was us champion material at best.

  • It all depends on the angle.

  • No one would opt to work with the Honky Tonk Man over Goldberg. There's no money in that.

  • bret vs shawn bret vs shawn it's 1997 all over again wooooooooooooooooooo! (i was there!)

  • god he sounds like a pissed off 80 year old baby

  • "He'd rather have Goberg kick him in the ****ing head."

    XD

  • Bret Hart stated that Honky Tonk was not that strong and it limited Brets ability when in the ring with him ie couldnt catch Bret on a crossbody. But Honky Tonk is right, if you'd ask Bret who would he rather wrestle Honky or Goldberg, it would be Honky.

  • honky jealous cuz bret made it and those 2 cock suckers never mad eit past open match

    FACT

  • Not a fact...both HTM & Greg were intercontinental champs and Honky main evented several arenas in that capacity.

  • dude Honkey Tony Man would bitch slap you and fuck ur mother right afterwords

  • Considering Tom Lewand slapped Honky upside the head so hard he literally started balling like a bitch...I doubt this

  • the honky donky man needs to shut his mouth remember people this is the guy who got bitch slapped by the dynamite kid and begged on his knees crying like the little bitch for dynamite not to break his neck then he set him up with those frogs knowen as the rouges fuck honkey tonk i would slap that smirk off his ugly elvis wannabe ass btw satino was right when elvis died on the john he pinched off what was the honky tonk mans career what a fucking joke that loser is fuck hony donky man

  • Dynamite Kid also claimed he didn't do anything to cause Jacques Rougeau to knock his front teeth out, but it's well documented that he attacked Jacques from behind when he was playing cards.

Therefore: don't take Dynamite's word for shit.

  • I remember the hammer santana feud and watched the cage match were gregg slammed the belt in the cage door breaking it and they made the new one that was a great feud

  • lol @ hammer... "i almost forgot to kick out"

  • The Honky Tonk's gangsta

  • how old are you???? How much schooling have you finished??? Certainly someone with your superior intellect and polished insides on the wrestling world could come up with something a little better than that. It's just TOO easy, and as is the case with most fans who like to discredit bret, your explanation is full of holes, one sided, and untrue and lacks logic or anything resembling intelligent cohesive thought. Bret was a HARD worker and he earned everything he got.

  • I just hated that Hogan bitched out & did'nt pass the torch 2 Bret instead of droppin' the belt 2 Yokozuna

  • @Dre7Guevara if vince really wanted him to do that, hulk would have. why did hart need hogan to do that anyway? hart had a great career and his angle against yoko was built up better anyway. besides, the torch was not hogan's to pass anymore. he already passed it to warrior before. bret is way too sensitive about this issue when instead he should realize that he was lucky to be in the position he was in anyway.

  • @Dre7Guevara - Yokozuna was younger, and was in the process of becoming the next big heel, which he was. It made more sense for a babyface Hulk Hogan to put over a young and up-in-coming heel named Yokozuna.

  • @Dre7Guevara how can you hate such when bret did the same thing to shawn michaels?

  • Bret Hart overrated? that's Ur opinion, either way, Bret was the BEST technical wrestler @ the time & still is, so of course Vince was right 2 put the belt on Bret

  • Bret couldn't draw. Best technical wrestler in a fake sport? Whatever...Hogan was a much better champ than Bret.

  • Thats bull Bret did draw as a champ. I think you should research before talking shit.

  • When Bret was champ the WWF ran smaller arenas. Bret wasn't a draw...especially compared to a Hulk or a Steve Austin. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but Ray Charles could see that.

  • No Yokozuna was Champ. And anyway Bret Hart was still there when bigger areans were getting used in 1997 when he was champ so it makes no sense saying he never, and when WWE were even using tiny areans Diesel was champ. Bret being champ never caused the WWE to use smaller areans, it was the steroid scandal. If it wasn't for Bret and HBK the WWE would have went under.

  • bret was a huge draw dude, not as big of a draw as hogan, but bret was a draw and a great champion

  • If anyone wasn't a draw it was Shawn Michaels. When WCW started kicking the WWE's butt, Bret was on vacation and Shawn was champ and trying to carry the company. Honkey Tonk Man and Greg Valentine sound very bitter. Perhaps it's that Bret got pushed and is recognized as one of the best. Honkey Tonk Man and Valentine on the other hand were nothing but roster fillers

  • no way bret was to big in him self the hulkster ran the wwe with vince made it from nothing come on its a good point but bret was to much a self person hogan would do his dues and you know that hogan will always be the man, hulk hogan is still mr wrestling

  • @mika1983 Bro, Bret Hart was a draw before he became WWF Champion and he was just a member of the Hart Foundation. I remember how there were times where Hogan wasn't always on the card. I'll give you an example. July 1987 at MSG. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and the Honky Tonk Man's rivalry was the semi main event. The Hart Foundation defending the tag-team Championship against the Bulldogs was the main event.

  • @Mika1983 That match sold out Madison Square Garden in July of 1987 at Madison Square Garden. The Hart Foundation versus the British Bulldogs for the WWF Tag-Team Championship. That match drew 20,000 fans to the Garden. Where was Hogan? Hogan wasn't even on the card. I'm from New York. Hogan did not work every month at Madison Square Garden. Guys like Ricky Steamboat, the Hart Foundation Roddy Piper, and the Junkyard Dog could draw the crowds to MSG, Boston, Philly and in Toronto.

  • @lildwayne21 Hell Bret Hart was a drawing point when he was in CALGARY Stampede Wrestling! Shit man, if it wasnt for Bret, Tom Billington and Davey Boy Smith wouldnt be nearly as big....Hell, even Bruce, Keith, and Smith wouldnt be....as for Owen, he was fucking incredible...he DID it on his own...He had it and was going places whether he was a Hart or not...

  • @mika1983 This shit about Bret Hart not being able to draw money is a bunch of bullshit. As a member of the Hart Foundation when they were the Tag-Team Champions in 1987, they were drawing money and main eventing semi main eventing. I get sick and tired of hearing this bullshit about how Bret Hart didn't draw any money in the 80s, because he was a member of the Hart Foundation. Yes, he did draw money even when Hogan wasn't even on the card.

  • @Mika1983 The Hart Foundation versus the British Bulldogs, the Hart Foundation versus the Killer Bees. In the 80s these were all hot tag-team rivalries, and in a lot of situations when Hogan wasn't even on the card, along with the other big money midcard matches on a card in the 80s, they could draw the house and sell out arena's, so this shit out Bret Hart not being able to draw money is a bunch of bullshit. I'M FROM NEW YORK! I know wass poppin'.

  • @mika1983 People can't tell me shit about Bret Hart not being able to draw money, because when he was a member of the Hart Foundation in the 80s, with or without Hogan on the card, he was drawing crowds and making money selling out MSG. The Hart Foundation wrestling the British Bulldogs at MSG in front of 20,000 when Hogan isn't even on the card is NOTHING to sneeze at! Bret Hart could draw and the WWE can spin Bret Hart being a draw however they want to spin it, but I can tell you

  • @mika1983 right now its a bunch of bs to a New York nigga like myself.

  • @lildwayne21 HAHAHAHAHA Lildwayne, you have my respect...I always see you on these wrestling vids and I gotta say, you crack me up my friend :D You make good on everything you say, and from one Hart fan to another, cheers..You are right, the Harts vs the Bulldogs drew incredible crowds...people are ignorant, you and I are not. WE KNOW WHATS POPPIN! period.

  • well thats the fucking truth what u said hogan mitght be one of the most unliked for wrestling fans but im happy to say i love the hogan gimmick he ran the wwe for ages with or without the belt the problem was bret thought he could be better bret as wrestler oh yes but value no way and truth no one will every be bigger as the hulkster and for the ppl who gave u a thunbs down ur stupied

  • Comment removed

  • Indeed it is. Thanks for informing Dre7Guevara of something that no doubt he already knew!

  • What a couple sorry asses. I know the whole rant is personal, but say it really was about how they worked. Just because Bret said Honky was soft (and he was), it doesn't mean he wants his face smashed out the back of his head. He just knows there has to be atleast a little juice behind the strikes.

  • The Honky Tonk Man is a bitch.

  • Honky is just pissed Bret drew and saved more money in one year than Honky and Valentine did during their entire career and dont have to wrestle on indy shows.

  • honky tonk man was a midcarder.

  • HTM was a pussy, inside the ring and out. He talks a lot of shit but in a legit fight he would get his ass kicked by just about every person he speaks negatively about.

  • Honky Tonk Man was a terrible wrestler. But he could perform. I could see why Bret would say he was soft; if you go back and watch any of his matches, Honky Tonk wobbled and threw punches like a cartoon character.

Greg Valentine was solid, though. I've never heard Bret Hart say anything bad about him.

  • A lot of people talk shit about Bret because lets be honest when he talks he comes off as a fucking asshole. I swear so many people that post here are such marks. Bret was great in the ring he was an asshole outside of it. I mean how many wrestlers have to say this for it to go through peoples skulls.

  • he's the Glenn Danzig of wrestling, short and bad tempered

  • The Undertaker is a very good friend of Bret's, Steve Austin is a very good friend of Bret's....Mick Foley is a very good friend of Bret's, The Legion of Doom are good friends of Bret's....The Undertaker and Mick Foley were pissed off after what happened with Bret at Montreal....Steve Austin talks to Bret on a regular basis and credits Bret for helping push him into superstardom....so FUCK OFF you moron!!

    Sincerely,

    Just another MARK!!!

  • ANYONE who likes Bret is a MARK?????????.....FUCK YOU ASS HOLE

  • vcs nem sabe fazer um video direito meu vão aprender bando de cú!

  • mather fucker!

  • Fuck Honky taking the piss out of Bret for having his long great career ended by an inexperienced wrestler.Jerk

  • Honky is a jerk. He had no speed in the ring, and that is probably what Bret meant about being SOFT. He didn't sell the opponents' moves too well, and he always cut a slow pace. Goldberg was pretty inexperienced when compared to other wrestlers, and he didn't have a whole bunch of moves, so maybe that caused Bret to get hurt.

  • I get ya--but the Honky Tonk Man was 1 of those guys in WWF(E) who made the fans emotional. He knew he had a limited sill set.But damn, you loved to see him get his ass kicked. WRESTLING.

  • I completely agree. When Warrior beat him at Summer Slam in 30 seconds, I was the happiest kid in the world. I HATED HONKY.

  • Why can't Honky overdose like Elvis?

  • honky a pussy

  • they're right about anvils forearm, if u search youtube for ken shamrock vs hbk and check the build-up, he almost takes hbks head off on raw, lol

  • Honky is a pussy and talking shit.

  • LOL how many times is Honky Tonk gonna say that same line about about Goldberg kicking him in the head? I don't think that was the result of working stiff anyway, it was the result of Goldberg not knowing what he was doing

  • he is also fat!!!

  • the honky tonk man was a great heel.one of the best characters of the 80s.everyone wanted him to lose the title ,but some way he would find a way to keep it.

  • The Hart Foundation: Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart - Legendary...

Rhythm & Blues: Honky Tonk Man & Greg Valentine - Skidmarks on Jimmy Hart's Y-fronts...

  • truer words were never spoken

  • I wish Honky Tonk would go over to Japan and wrestle Kawada and get his fucking teeth knocked out.

  • and the InterContinental Title was taking from him by the Ultimate Warrior in 35 seconds. Big mouth Honky, not so good on the ring.

  • Actually dropping the belt in that ultra-squash was Honky's idea. Pro wrestling is staged.

  • I know of course, but It was Vince's Idea, not Honky.

  • I'm sure it was. You were probably there when he told Vince he wanted to do it, right?

  • it was his idea to lose the title fast.cause as he said in a interview he was a afreid of getting hurt by the warrior who was a real fuck-up at the time

  • Sweet, I'm Greg Valentine and nobody cares if I'm alive or dead. And then there's the Honky Tonk Man, who had to gimmick infringe Elvis just to get noticed. The Honky Tonk Man? What the fuck kind of a name is that anyways? Piece of shit.

  • Why would Bret Hart be jealous of the Honky Tonk Man? He won more championships then Honky (Countless world titles and held the I-C title twice, Honky held it once. He also held 3 tag titles, 2 in the WWF and one in WCW). Also, Bret is a millionaire while Honky is wrestling in a 300 seat high school in a backyard town near you.

  • Countless world titles? maybe if you're a moron.

  • i love honky and greg.... but shit... making fun of Bret ending his career? not classy at all.

  • Are they refering to the bout they had with HF at WM 5?

  • Bret saying to Honky that he wrestled too soft (with him) sounds to me to be more of an observation. Honky was a comedy wrestler tho, track thru time and comedy wrestlers do work it soft & I think that would even add to their comedy apeal. I never took Honky seriously, we werent supposed to. I Believed in Bret Hart 100%!

  • what a couple of morons. bret is good enough to be high impact (unlike honky) and good enough not to hurt anyone (unlike goldberg) so he pwns them both!

  • they both just sound like redneck fools

  • Once more, wrestling marks prove to be fucking idiots.

  • true indeed wrestling marks are fucking idiots

anybody who call Valentine a boring cokehead is a fucking idiot

  • Not really....because it's all opinion, aside from the cokehead part. I don't claim that he's a cokehead but in my opinion he was boring. You sound like a mark yourself, so why are you even talking?

  • He's talking because he knows and idiot when he sees one.

  • Nobody is jealous of the HTM. And to write Valentine off as a boring cokehead means you don't know your shit.

  • I think Bret said that in an IGN interview, and lets just face it watch their matches, it's the truth, the goldberg comparison is lame but then again so is Honky . I don't think he mentioned Valentine though, not sure, but yeah... another sluggish, boring wrestler. Both Honky and him are 2 coke heads who still need to wrestle in high school gyms in 2007 to make a living.

  • Whatever dude..Honky Tonk Man is the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and I think Bret Hart was just jealous of him

  • Bret has nothing to be jealous of. He won more titles, had more fans and made more money then Honky so why would he be jealous of HTM? I think it's the only way around.
