  • Excellent. Never get tired of this song!

  • Produced with Jeff Lynne ? Anyway...first solo by Georg, the final solo Eric. There's no doubt at all !

  • Eric Clapton plays the solo!

  • The first solo was George's ... a typically simple, tasteful slide melody without a trace of ostentation. The playout is Eric. I just wish that the Clapton detractors, who wheel out names like Stevie Ray, Johnny Winter, Peter Green etc etc and bray about how much better they are than EC, could listen to this exquisite piece of work at the end of this wonderful song and then reconsider their statements. Clapton never claimed to be 'God' - he just played guitar from his heart, as he does today.

  • Any dip with a ear for music can tell George plays the first solo,Clapton the second.Slight difference in styles, pull the shit out of your ears

  • Acordes perfeitos e solo preciso. Este é George Harrison, sua guitarra e sua voz. Obrigado pela sua música George.

    DAMIÃO-RJ-BRASIL

  • Even the Beatles in solo released successful albums. Proof with this irresistible track!

  • People, calm down. I am sure that BrosByte knows the sound of George Harrison versus Eric Clapton. We all know...OK. Just chill out and enjoy the music.

  • Like, George Harrison-credited song. As supposed to a Beatles song written by him.

  • @NaminatorEC

By solo, he means solo record.

  • It's George on the solo overdubbing 2 electrics, Clapper at the end. Magic.

  • great song

  • Songs a bit underrated.

  • Simply wonderful.

    Thanks.

  • I believe if I get to Heaven I will meet a huge number of people just like George Harrison. Thank you George for bringing Heaven to us.

  • that has to be Clapton on the guitar solo

  • @txeire They both were great fans of BB King..Its easy to see how they can sound alike .

  • Oh, my sweet lord... my seet George... I miss you so much.

  • This is such a great album :)

  • Happy birthday George, you are a legend. Rest in peace.

  • Watch interview on here with George Harrison, he says it's Clapton on solo at the end...they worked together on most his solo stuff.

  • I love this song, one of my faveys

  • Great song, very ELOish, but Jeff did produce it.

  • @ Stereobarf Eric Clapton played the guitar solo, not George, though it does

sound like what George would play.

  • @yourimageunreels

No way, it's clearly Harrison. Clapton only played a couple lead parts on the album, and this ain't one of them.

  • @yourimageunreels

I take it back, the solo at the end does sound like Clapton.

  • sounds gay :)

  • Clapton appears on the song...the song is produced by Jeff Lynne. Much more of a heavy Lynne influence than a Clapton influence.

  • DO CARALHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is Clapton by the way..he played on several other tracks ..as confirmed by GH

  • George's music brings his presence back, it's like he's still with us and came here to stay. He now may be writing new tunes in someplace else. Oooh, that's what it takes...

  • we love you georgie-

  • Clapton never played on any cloud nine track but he did play on the live in japan album

  • @BreakableImp He obviously plays in here. The guitar has all the Clapton style, besides look at the photos included in the Cd booklet

  • what a great song from such a great artist R.I.P. george harrison

  • jeff lynne, eric clapton here are playng.

  • Top tune aided with the skills of Jeff Lynne (who is a god) Brilliant album/CD, unlike the 'bro shit in the charts these days where drug taking, knife stabbing, gun shooting pricks slag of life, their whores and ponce off society...I feel better now and have had my 8 seconds of fame. When's the new album out Jeff?

  • EC plays most of this

  • C'est Eric Clapton qui joue le solo à la fin du morceau :)

  • George Sos un grande, el mejor. Vivirás siempre en las hermosas melodías de tus canciones...!

  • L'un des plus belles chansons qui puisse exister sur cette planète . ♥

  • Magnifique chanson ! ♥

  • I love this album, and the photo of George in his sunglasses on the cover. George is just the best!

  • Jeff Lynne's emergence is so evident in the overall sound of this album compared to the previous few from George. Just fantastic. I love Cloud Nine.

  • I can relate to this song quite a bit with my former best friend when she decided to stop being friends with me...like George says before you do something "The closer I get to that open door, I gotta be sure, if that's what it takes

  • Fucking great album and all the songs... George is GREAT"

  • I agree with you, a stonker of an album, one of George's best.

  • Yeah ! One of the best of all time in my opnion!

  • @ispinimor

I can listen to George's songs all day and i'll NEVER get tired of it . Always loved George more than the other fab four.

    He is so talented

  • 懐かし過ぎる。set on you よりこの歌が好きだった。

  • どのように可能性が緩やかなカブトムシを参照のポイント?

  • Such a good song.

  • @Teabonesteak

I love how the backing vocals work in this song. so simple yet it just completes the song!

  • George's solo is typically tasteful, memorable and distinctive; I find Clapton's to be typically workmanlike - just blues solo boxes.

  • This is pretty 80's sounding, but with George singing, it is great.

  • One of his best solos.

  • @Stereobarf it is clapton.

  • @Stereobarf poorcku is right. That's Eric Clapton at the end.

  • @Stereobarf yes, I guess that's Clapton on solo-git. Just to put it right. George would've played it great, too, I'm sure. :)

  • @Stereobarf george doesn't play the solo that's eric clapton

  • @albertotejedaglez About 15 other people pointed this out before you, and I figured this out about a year ago.

  • @Stereobarf cool haha

  • @Stereobarf Eric Clapton actually did that solo!

  • @iunnodiapeys yes. George said that in an interview which can be found on YouTube.

  • Comment removed

  • @Stereobarf Look for "George Harrison interview about Eric Clapton"

  • my favorite song.

  • one of his better solo efforts. period. great song.

  • George then Eric on the solos, classic stuff!
