In the first round when Ryu dizzies Ken, he does a really quick arching hurrican kick. How? I can never get the arc to excute with such torque as shown here. How do you snap a quick arc like that?
When you hold down a button and release, you can still do a motion to the move and release it and it does the move. When he did low medium punch, he did the motion immediatly, let go of the punch button and hit low B and does that same thing back into a punch. Same thing when he did fierce standing punch into a shoryuken.
that wasnt the right way to play fei long. my bro and i did fei vs bison/vega matches all the time. i wouldnt have chosen to play that way. would have relied much more on the rekka ken.
He's got invinsibility for all 3 SRK and all of them go through fireballs, his hado also seems faster as he beats out Ryu here in a hado battle twice. There are probably some other differences aswell but those are the ones I know of.
ur pretty stupid kid after playing all these year and u say that ryu fireball is slower then ken. ur just as slow as the guy playing ryu, that loser just didnt spam the fireball that y he lost. he thoug he can get out of it but stupid ideal lol just as stupid as u kid lol.
O.Ken does not have the same fireball speed as Ken does.
O.Ken and Ryu has the same fireball speed as long as Ryu karacancels his hadokens with short, if Ryu doesn't then Ken will win in a fireball fight since he doesn't have to do that to have shorter recovery.
basically you tap short before you do your fireball so a short never comes out on screen fully. ST works that the recovery of your hadoken is decided by what move you did before you threw it, if you do a roundhouse then fireball it will have slower recovery than if you do a short then fireball.
Also what about chaining into a fireball? Can I make recovery time shorter after a low roundhouse sweep > fireball by tap short before cancelling before the hadoken? Or are we talking about a hadoken on its own and not in a combo?

O.Ken is better according to matchups.

Can you kara cancel non fireball moves? Like a DP or a hurricane kick? What about kara cancelling a super? Can Sagat kara his tiger shots?

Lol at natmz. Good stuff.

New Ken is better also because his funky kicks(also the overhead version) have good priority and cause chip damage, which makes them very useful.

I have to say ST Ken is better.A nice standing fierce kick to surprise people, knee bash, those weird but good kicks, and his super isn't bad.
Old ken is fun to play too tho
