I am an Atheist and think personally that religion is a joke, but I'm open about the opinions of others and as long as they don't preach to others, trying to convert someone, I think it's really good that you can get peace from something, anything, and whatever it is you love, let it keep you strong. i have no problem with those that choose to want to believe in something 'higher' or 'bigger' than ourselves. i even have no problem if you want to call it 'god'...the problem & blindness comes from giving this god a name, saying it's real based on nothing more than a belief, & suggesting that if i don't believe it too that i should suffer for eternity. & of course "any xian can tell me" they have a relationship with their chosen 'god', just as any muslim, hindu, etc

I was raised christian not any specific religon i lost my faith almost three years ago now i broke my femur lost most of junior year just to get near where i was before wrestled i heal rehab train spent 3000 dollars of my own money to go to wrestling camps broke my hand and lost my grandmother before the sectionals i lost it stumbling on this video reingnited my faith thank you

@Czirro The fact he can carry on and enjoy life and have such respect for it and everything around him after that terrible thing happened is testament to his mental strength. In a cage or a ring people have often said he isn't there mentaly, but if I were in his position I don't think I could ever have recovered from such a tragedy. A real role model for martial arts, sports in general and as a source of inspiration.

I am an Atheist and think personally that religion is a joke, but I'm open about the opinions of others and as long as they don't preach to others, trying to convert someone, I think it's really good that you can get peace from something, anything, and whatever it is you love, let it keep you strong. We all need something. Sports, love, friends, religion... anything. Vitor Belfort is staying strong, and my heart melted to his words. I've always loved him as a person and fighter, even more now.

No that was just me respecting a man with a hard life. I'm an atheist, not by choice, just what I am and how I've been raised. I'm not a fan of the bible myself, but people all have their own take, choices, and beliefs. If I said anymore, it may start some sort of debate, and it's not respectful to Vitor's confessions to do that here, which is what really melted my heart. I've read various religion doctrines, not just the bible, and this is my belief, or lack thereof. Just respect

More people need to do what he says and what the Bible says, open their heart to Jesus. Its not about being religious, its about pursuing God and opening your heart so that he can change your life. Christ came to this earth and was mocked, spit on and suffered a torturous death and it was all for us. Not only will you feel the Spirit of God in love and forgiveness but he promises us eternal life with him. Doesnt matter who you are or what you've done, come to him as you are.
