I can't say that I agree with you...

The chorus, is indeed, played wrong.

Listen to his playing, compare it to the record. He's not playing whatever is being played in the recording.

And, I'm sure if you look at his other lessons, there will be plenty of people saying there's something "wrong" or "different" than what's actually being played.

If you are going to quote Jimmy Page atleast quote him correctly . What he actually said was that Townsends guitar work influenced "SOME ' of his guitar work on Led Zeppelin 1 He also said that HIS guitar playing is a cross between Pete Seager and Earl Scruggs , but I don't see you singing the praises of Foggy mountain Breakdown . Led Zepelin actually was inspired more by the likes of Willie Dixon and Howlin Wolf . Most of their first two Albums were remakes of old Blues songs .

Why does everyone overthink the F# part..? It's played like this....smack the F#5 twice, pull and hammer doublestops (high E and B together)2nd fret to open and back, then 4th fret D and G stings pulled to 2nd and back...Voila... no position change, you don't even have to watch yourself do it...It literally becomes the easiest part of the song!
