Another cool idea for future reference? One thing I have found that makes excellent parking lots & in some cases, long smooth roadways is... a cheap child's chalkboard. No kidding! They are usually thin which is nice for cutting & shaping and painting the lines or parking spaces is a breeze. The coolest thing about it is, you can practice your markings with fine chalk & if you don't like it, just erase it & start over! If you like the final results, just spray it w/clear matte paint & wala!
what i did not like is that with ALL the pre-war obs cars except for the limited edition one the tail light is white instead of red, it looks..........shall we say unprototypical
Why would you use Duct tape period????? Double sided tape works better, but making a small shelf for it wouldnt of hurt either. "Just remember if they dont find ya handsome, they can at least find you handy!" - RedGreen
Awesome! I just bought the Daylight car, its on its way in the post to me. Looks unbelievable! There are a lot of SP Daylight cars coming out now though, perhaps too many!
@drewzdrew27 I bought the pre-war (because I didn't know the difference! but I do now) and I think i'll be very pleased with it! The lighting looks amazing on both models actually. Have you got the GS-4 as well?
@streamlinedtrains the pre-war is fine, possibly even better because its not as high in demand, i do not have BLIs GS-4, it has not been released yet. but i will try to get it.
@streamlinedtrains the difference is the pre-war cars have skirting so you cant you really see the the equipment and hosing underneath the cars you can see the difference on the Broadway Limited Imports site just view the cars
