One prob - if my memory isn't playing tricks on me, this upload is probably running about 15bpm faster than the original, so it's very compressed, it's way too fast - we need to hear the space, right? That's what the Funk Bros were all about . . .
Ever since watching 'Standing In The Shadows Of Motown' I can't listen to the singers no more. I'm forever picking out the different Funk Brothers and which song is definitely a 'Funk Bros' track - is anyone else like this ?
You just gotta admire the genius of these guys its opened up a whole new world for me, just listening and enjoying a particular instrument and how well its played rather than listening to the singer and the song...

Amazing really, these Guys played on so many brilliant records yet they are almost unknown.
Sometimes they were making 2 a day, incredible.
