FUN FACTL just so all u kids know Slipknot was founded by the original members inculding Shawn Crahan(#6), whom can be heard here aswell. therefore comparing this badn to slipknot is basiccally comparing Shawns style here to his style in slipknot, which was very close to this during the "Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat." era.
