@yolandasotolopez Thanks. I love this method. This was my first year to try it and I would say it was definitely a success. Even if I get my dream farm I think I would still use this method.
So where is the squirrel getting the sweet taters from to bury ? confused :) .. Friend of mine had a squirrel stealing his tomatoes, would hop backwards holding them in its paws , funny sight !
@Mrwrinkleintime I had about 200 of them curing out back for about a week. He's been carrying them off any chance he gets. I've got them all in now, but he is well stocked for winter for sure....
Thanks Dale....I love living down south and having a long growing season...I am jealous of your chickens and awesome hen house. We hope to get more land but right now we live on 1/4 acre in a subdivision so chickens are out of the question for now...and you have an apple tree....awesome. I just bought 3 bushells of apples. Do you have a good recipe for applesauce? How do you store your apples? Have a blessed day...
You can't get up from the table until you finish your swiss chard. lol We have the same rain gauge. Great looking garden I'm so jealous frost has taken mine, just the hoop house still growing. All of my pets are under the apple tree in my front yard.
Be careful with the mint, it can take over the entire garden. Great way to screen for privacy from the neighbors.

@yolandasotolopez Thanks. Hoping that the mint will be fine there through the winter as long as I move it in the spring???
